Favorite Things Anders Ruff Style

IMG_3001

One of the most rewarding aspects about working with a team of talented ladies is seeing each others personalities shine in their personal and work style. We recently had our holiday party and had a blast enjoying our delicious dinner (hosted and prepared by the talented Maureen), festive drinks, cookie exchange and admiring the amazing decor Maureen had throughout her home. It sparked an idea for me to write a post on the Anders Ruff team’s favorite things.

I hope you enjoy browsing and maybe getting some last minute gift ideas!

Maureen: I am obsessed with Ikat but also tend to lean towards modern in my home decor.¬† This set of Ikat bowls has the perfect balance of trendy Ikat and classic loveliness ūüėČ I can use these for game night or for a more formal dinner when I entertain. LOVE them! From C.Wonder: http://www.cwonder.com/ikat-nesting-bowls-set-of-7.html

Sonya: My Lilly Pulitzer Pocket Agenda in the Skip On It print is fabulous! It totally keeps me organized and fits into my purse perfectly. The fun colors, stickers and designs throughout make staying organized so much more fun!

Becky: My favorite thing…(besides chocolate) I got an iPhone this year, so my favorite thing has been my Otterbox Commuter case. My 3 kids often ask to play a game on it so if I let them, I feel more at ease knowing it’s protected from being cracked if they drop it. The Defender case for the iPad works really well too.

Libby: I have lots of favorite things… things I call my “go tos”… but if I had to pick one to tell others about off the top of my head, I’d have to say that I think the website Fab.com is fast becoming my top pick for ALL THINGS creative, functional and fun! ¬†Everything you can imagine can be found there for purchase or inspiration. ¬†One of the coolest things they had featured last week was a set of sheets and pillow cases that looked like a giant sheet(s) of notebook paper (wide-ruled) with the three holes on the side… you could actually write on them with big special, washable markers… ¬†I wanted to get a set for my daughter just to see what kind of giant, wacked-out message she’d leave for the tooth fairy! ¬†Only thing is with fab.com is once it’s gone, it’s gone! ¬†So if you see something you like, grab it!
Heidi: My favorite thing is going to be the awesome Kate Spade bangles!  It goes with EVERYTHING and makes me feel a bit polished even when everything else around me is disheveled.
Adria: This is what i just got for Christmas and I’m in love- The Mac Book Pro: http://www.apple.com/macbook-pro/.

This is my favorite thing for kids: (mustache ipod touch case)
Shana: I had a hard time choosing one favorite thing to share! I love jewelry (especially bangles and bracelets to stack and mix) but I decided to go with what I love to do most of all: cook for my family and friends! Aiding me in my love of cooking is my collection of Fiesta Ware dishes. I started collecting these when I was a first married. I love the bright colors, heaviness of the china and you can go from oven to serving in one bowl! My favorite color is turquoise, and I will buy vintage pieces of this color when I find them online or -if I’m lucky- at yard sales!
I hope you enjoyed reading a glimpse into each of our personal styles! I love how we are each unique and trendy in our own way. Happy Holidays from our family to yours!
