Hi Anders Ruff Readers! I\u2019m so glad to be stopping by and sharing my new book \u2013 Candy Making For Kids! It\u2019s a super cute book JUST for your little ones (although the recipes are delicious for kids of all ages).\u00a0 None of the recipes use a candy thermometer so they really are fit for little hands. From holiday themed treats (a whole chapter devoted to holidays!) to perfect treats for gift-giving, kids will definitely find lots of favorites in this little cookbook.<\/p>\n

\nOne of my favorite recipes is for the sprinkle party fudge! Sprinkles belong on everything, I think. This fudge is quite addictive (so delish). What I love about this recipe is how easy it is to tailor to your party. You can use a specific color scheme of sprinkles or go rainbow style. You can easily cut it out with little cookie cutters like hearts, stars, or circles. You can even write on it with regular icing, royal icing, or melted chocolate! The possibilities really are endless for dazzling up this delicious fudge.<\/p>\n

\nRainbow Sprinkle Fudge\u00a0(Makes 45\u201350 fudge squares)<\/strong>
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a04 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a03 cups powdered sugar
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a01 \u20444 teaspoon salt
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a01 (11-ounce) package white chocolate chips
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a01 teaspoon vanilla extract
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a01 teaspoon almond extract
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a03 \u20444 cup rainbow sprinkles<\/p>\n

Beat cream cheese until smooth and fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar and salt. Melt white chocolate in microwavable bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth. Pour into cream cheese mixture and stir until blended. Stir in extracts. Pour in 1 \u2044 2 cup rainbow sprinkles\u2014do not over-stir or sprinkles will become melted and muddy the color of fudge. Pour fudge mixture into 9 x 9-inch pan lined with wax paper. Sprinkle remaining 1 \u20444 cup rainbow sprinkles over top of poured fudge. Refrigerate until chilled and then cut into squares.<\/p>\n
