We LOVE to see when clients take some of our party ideas and crafts and incorporate it into their own parties.\u00a0 My favorite party that I’ve planned for my boys has been Pierson’s Vintage Pop Art Super Hero party<\/a>.\u00a0 I was thrilled when I saw our client (April) chose this theme!\u00a0 Her planner, Shannon Smith, used some of our ideas and added some of her own, which makes it fun to feature!<\/p>\n

I adore super hero parties <\/a>so here goes…Shannon did a great job on her first party planning experience!<\/p>\n

The cake is inspired by the Got What It Cakes<\/a> cake that Mandie made for Pierson’s super hero party<\/a> and I like how they added the middle tier with the super emblem.<\/p>\n

She did a great job making a telephone booth like we did… looks like she recycled a fridge box, too!\u00a0 LOVE that!<\/p>\n

I see she also made fun buildings for a skyline on the dessert table – SUCH an easy thing to do and so powerful!<\/p>\n

“Greetings Anders Ruff Fans! I am an amateur event planner embarking on my first private event and wanted to share with you all the details of what turned out to be a stellar celebration! I hope our story will inspire you to use the fabulous products provided at Anders Ruff.\u00a0 We couldn\u2019t have made this event what it was without this amazing team!<\/p>\n

The client and mother of the birthday boy discovered a pin on Pinterest<\/a> featuring Maureen\u2019s Vintage Super Hero party<\/a> for her son Pierson\u2019s 3rd birthday. She knew right away this was the unique design she had been looking for.\u00a0 Following Maureen\u2019s blog about the party details, we endeavored to achieve the same d\u00e9cor and fantastic vintage feel that Maureen did.\u00a0 The client purchased the Super Hero artwork packages from Anders Ruff and found a local printer (Fast Signs).<\/p>\n

Included in the Anders Ruff package were several of the smaller items like the treat bag tags, the birthday pennant, the city scape birthday labels and the photo booth call out signs(see below)which we printed ourselves.<\/p>\n

Last but certainly not least were the fun DIY projects. Here is the cake table city scape made from collected boxes of different sizes, wrapping paper and black electrical tape, the \u201cbarbell\u201d props made of empty wrapping paper rolls, toilet paper and duct tape and the London Telephone Booth for our \u201ccivilian\u201d guests to transform into their super hero selves:<\/p>\n

We decorated our venue with rolls of vinyl table cloths in red, blue and yellow. We used them on tables, to drape entryways and to decorate the candy bar. We then accented everything with black and white polka dot balloons and streamers.
\nOur final product was a joy to behold and everyone enjoyed themselves so much-especially the birthday boy!<\/p>\n
