I have a whole list of poems and sayings that I have been wanting to create valentines for, and these gum wrapper printable valentines definitely topped the list so I knew I had to create one to coordinate with the Mr and Miss Mustache collection!<\/p>\n

So….. Don\u2019t get yourself into a \u201csticky\u201d situation with last minute Valentine planning!\u00a0 We have the perfect valentine<\/a> ~~candy<\/del> chewing gum-gram for you!<\/p>\n~~

\nThe best part!\u00a0 I went to my local Dollar Tree and bought 5 sets of Big Red gum (They sell them in packs of 4 for $1! so I could get the whole class accomplished for $5) and then got printing and wrapping.\u00a0 Be careful because a lot of stores only sell the \u201cOrbitz\u201d type larger packs of gum, so I\u2019d definitely head to the Dollar Store for the best value.<\/p>\n

Yes, yes, I know kids can\u2019t have gum in school<\/em> but that is what makes it such a treat \u2013 an excuse to get gum at school, since it is Valentine\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n

These are so easy to do!<\/p>\n

HOW TO<\/strong>:
\n1. Download your gum wrapper printable (Available as an instant download in the shop here.<\/a>)
\n2. Print on photopaper or cardstock (or even copy paper if you don\u2019t have either).\u00a0 Be sure to print at 100% scale and don\u2019t \u201cscale to fit page\u201d
\nWe use an inkjet with photo paper for that gorgeous saturated color.
\n3. Trim along crop lines\/edges with a paper trimmer or scissors
\n4. Have your child fill out the \u201cto\u201d and \u201cfrom\u201d section on the back
\n5. Fold or score on each set of red lines that are on the stripey border.
\n6. Wrap around the pack of gum (these fit standard packs with 5 pieces) and seal shut with double stick tape.
\n7. Optional:<\/em> You could also attach the pack of gum to a printed valentine card for even more cuteness.\u00a0 (We have one that fits a pack of gum perfectly and says \u201cKeep the gum out of your \u201cstache\u201d”.\u00a0 Those are available in our shop here.<\/a>)<\/p>\n

\n– Stick as in Stick together like stick by each other\u2019s side
\n– Stick as in Stick together like kiss
\n– Stick as in sticky gum!<\/p>\n
