This week is Teacher Appreciation Week – Let’s celebrate them with a cute gift idea!<\/p>\n

I am loving these cotton bags found at Nashville Wraps<\/a>! \u00a0Maureen and I were trying to think of something to give to teachers and we came up with a DIY snack bag! \u00a0All teachers love to have a snack at school, so this is perfect to pass to them filled with goodies, and then they can re-use! \u00a0(great for end of year gift too)<\/p>\n

This takes minimal time, and you can have your kids make it!<\/p>\n

Supplies needed:
\nSmall snack bag tote (we love\u00a0Nashville Wraps<\/a>\u00a0for this)
\nFabric paint (I used neon colors and gold)
\nCircle sponge brushes
\nWax paper<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Directions:
\n1. \u00a0Cut a piece of wax paper and insert into bag (prevents paint from bleeding through to the other side)
\n2. \u00a0Fill paint tray with different paint colors
\n3. \u00a0Using circular sponge, dip into paint and stamp on<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

4. \u00a0Place dots in a scattered pattern to create a confetti look!
\n5. \u00a0Allow drying time according to paint directions.
\n6. \u00a0Repeat process on backside
\n7. \u00a0Once backside dries, you can fill your snack bag.<\/p>\n

{Snack suggestions}
\na. Grapes, cheese & crackers
\nb. Fresh fruit like apples or pears from Farmer’s Market
\nc. Home-made jam or gourmet jam with crackers and cute knife
\nd. Home-made trail mix packaged with a cute ingredients tag<\/p>\n

8. Once bag is filled, add tissue paper and a thank you tag (this tag is from our Neon Bridal Collection<\/a>)<\/p>\n

My kids loved helping with this, and asked to make extras so they could have one as well!<\/p>\n
