Today is a great day to celebrate! \u00a0Why? \u00a0Because it is October 2, and it’s my birthday (my last year in my 30’s, to be exact). \u00a0I wanted to post something birthday related, so we thought it would be fun to show DIY Chevron Wrapping Paper and Chevron Stamp! \u00a0I love receiving gifts, and I love giving<\/em> gifts (especially in creative ways). This is a simple way to make one-of-a kind gift wrap, and a perfect kid activity too! \u00a0My girls thought this was so cute, that they asked me to make Christmas paper for this year’s Holiday Season! \u00a0(of course, with their help)<\/p>\n

Supplies needed:
\nCraft paper
\nCork board
\n5mm foam sheet
\nHot glue
\nScissors\/Ruler
\nAcrylic paint
\nChevron, Stripes & Polka Dots Party Logos for gift tags<\/a><\/p>\n

Directions:
\n1. Cut coark board to fit your hand (I made mine 2″ x 6″)
\n2. Cut strips of chevron out of foam, to the width of the cork board. \u00a0I didn’t want mine perfect, so I just cut with scissors free-hand.
\n3. Glue the foam to the cork with hot glue<\/p>\n

4. Spread acrylic paint onto wax paper (or painting tray)
\n5. Stamp paper to desired length<\/p>\n

\n6. Allow dry time (I put mine in the sun to dry, outside – for quicker drying time)
\n7. Wrap gifts, add yarn or ribbon and gift tag! (I created matching tags from\u00a0Chevron, Stripes & Polka Dots Party Logos for the gift tags<\/a>)<\/p>\n
