As you know, I recently moved to Milwaukee and you better believe we have project after project on our “to do” list!\u00a0 One thing that was really EASY to do was change our lighting.\u00a0 J (my husband, if you didn’t know his name!) and I both find lighting in our home to be top on the priority list.\u00a0 We are always looking for better lighting for both day and night.\u00a0 The one handy thing J has mastered is installing dimmer switches.\u00a0 (Ha!)<\/p>\n

Being a designer and stylist, I’m always shooting photos of of products for our shop<\/a>.\u00a0 Sometimes it is night when I get a chance to get photographs, so as you can imagine, lighting is pretty darn important to me, too!\u00a0 Also, color is super important to us as designers.\u00a0 Because of all of our styled photoshoots, we are always working around the clock and sometimes evening is the only time we can really get work done.\u00a0 That means I need to rely on good lighting to see the accurate colors!<\/p>\n

I am thrilled to partner with GE <\/a>to do some room lighting makeovers this past month!\u00a0<\/strong> <\/em>We changed lighting in our hallway as well as my office.\u00a0 Take a look at the following before and after photos from the lighting make over!<\/p>\n

I took these photos at night so that you get the true effect.\u00a0 I didn’t love my lighting before because of the somewhat yellow tint that the bulbs gave off.\u00a0 Now, with the GE Reveal 75W Halogen bulbs, I feel like the light is totally perfect! Not fluorescent or blue looking, but more natural!<\/p>\n

The hallway was driving me crazy with the “yellow” hue that my old light bulbs were giving off.\u00a0 I love true looking bright light and not yellow tints! Check out the before and after from changing to GE Reveal LED light bulbs!

I think it was a great idea to change out my lighting…. (Light bulb went off! Gotta change the whole house, now!)<\/p>\n
