We are so excited to show you how to make these precious Angry Birds Marshmallows<\/strong> today from our Angry Birds Toons Party<\/a> that we shared this week!\u00a0 You may have seen the Angry Birds Cookie tutorial <\/a>that we shared yesterday, and today we have another easy no-bake recipe!\u00a0 This tutorial is so simple and with Red being one of the favorite Angry Birds Toons characters, we think this will be a popular treat at your Angry Birds Toons party!<\/p>\n

Wouldn\u2019t these marshmallows be adorable to serve your guests at a viewing party to watch the Angry Birds Toons DVD?!<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

INGREDIENTS & MATERIALS NEEDED<\/strong><\/span>:
\n– Red Melting Chocolates
\n– Piping Bags or these handy awesome Kuhn Rikon Cookie Decorating Set of icing tubes (Find them here<\/a>)
\n– Giant Marshmallows (Cut in half)
\n– Red Chocolate Covered Sunflower Seeds (Candy Galaxy<\/a> has them!)
\n– Royal Icing (Make using the instructions on your Meringue Powder<\/a> container – You will need Black and White)
\n– Wooden Skewers or White Lollipop Sticks
\n– Parchment Paper or Waxed Paper
\n– Orange Starbursts (or fondant)
\n– Rolling Pin<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

STEP 1:<\/strong>
\nCut the giant marshmallows in half so they are half the thickness.\u00a0 Stick a skewer or lollipop stick into the marshmallow.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

STEP 2:<\/strong>
\nMelt your red chocolate melts in the microwave.<\/p>\n

\nSTEP 3:<\/strong>
\nDip your marshmallow into the red chocolate, leaving the bottom portion white (for the body of the bird)<\/p>\n

\nSTEP 4:<\/strong>
\nOpen up the orange Starbusts and if needed, stick in the microwave for 5-8 seconds to soften it up. Roll it flat with a rolling pin or fondant roller. (Note you can also use fondant if you don’t want to use Starbursts, but I think starbursts are easier and yummy).\u00a0 Cut the Starbursts into triangle shapes to create the beak of the bird. Piece 2 triangles together to make the top and bottom beak.<\/p>\n

STEP 5:<\/strong>
\nUse more of the red melting chocolate to stick the beak on the bird.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

STEP 6:<\/strong>
\nUse your white royal icing to make two eyes on the bird right above the beak.\u00a0 Immediately use the black royal icing to create the black portion of the eyes.<\/p>\n

\nSTEP 7:<\/strong>
\nNext, use the black royal icing to create the eyebrows.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\nSTEP 8:<\/strong>
\nNext, use your red chocolate sunflower seeds to create the feather on top of the red bird’s head.<\/p>\n

\nUse your red melting chocolates to adhere them to the top of the bird head.\u00a0 We found that it holds better if you hold the bird upright while you are attaching it to the top of the head.\u00a0 It hardens pretty quickly, so this is pretty simple.\u00a0 We adhered 2 to the top for the feathers.<\/p>\n
