As a busy mom of two, I\u2019m constantly dreaming up desserts that look beautiful, taste amazing, and can be created quickly and easily. One of my favorite dessert tables in the book is the Vintage Baby table. With baby shower season upon us, this table is filled with fun desserts and display ideas using items from around your home.\u00a0 The table overflows with gorgeous desserts that can be created quickly and displayed beautifully. Whether you are throwing an entire shower or just bringing a dessert to share, there is something for everyone.

Take a peek at a few of the sugar cookies on this table: Vintage baby rattle sugar cookies, baby bib cookies with ribbon ties, and carriages and baby bottles!\u00a0 Maybe you aren’t throwing a baby shower, but know a mommy-to-be.\u00a0 These cookies are absolutely darling packaged up pretty and delivered to the new mom.\u00a0 Add a special personalized touch by drawing the baby’s name in buttercream on the baby bibs!<\/span><\/p>\n

One of my favorite desserts on the Vintage Baby table are these sweet rattle cookie pops, \u201cRattles from Seattle\u201d.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t get much easier than this,\u00a0 store bought oreos, dressed in vanilla candy and pastel colored sprinkles!<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be surprised how simple these little rattles are to make and how great they taste.\u00a0 Store-bought Oreo cookies are dipped in vanilla candy melts, sprinkled and tied with a bow.\u00a0 Stand them in Styrofoam covered in nostalgic baby shower mints.<\/i><\/p>\n

Makes 24 pops<\/b><\/p>\n

Ingredients<\/b><\/p>\n

1 (14.3-ounce [405 g]) package Oreo cookies<\/p>\n

2 (12-oz [340 g]) packages white candy melts<\/p>\n

Pastel star sprinkles<\/p>\n

You will need:<\/b><\/p>\n

Styrofoam<\/p>\n

24 Pink and White striped straws<\/p>\n

24 pieces blue ribbon<\/p>\n

DIRECTIONS<\/b><\/p>\n

1.<\/b>Melt the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments at 40% power for about 1 1?2 to 2 minutes, stirring as needed until smooth.<\/p>\n

2.<\/b>Insert paper straws into the middle of oreo cookies.<\/p>\n

3.<\/b>Dip the Oreos into the melted candy and decorate the bottom half of each with pastel star sprinkles while still tacky. Stand the Oreo Rattles up in a sheet of Styrofoam to dry.<\/p>\n

4.<\/b>Tie bows around the straws with blue ribbon.<\/p>\n
