We have yet another amazing party to share with you that was styled and hosted by <\/span>MudPie Parties<\/a> out of\u00a0Alberta Canada. \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Having previously shared with you their \u00a0<\/span>Mario Kart<\/a>\u00a0party and\u00a0<\/span>Super Hero <\/a>party, y<\/span>ou are most likely becoming familiar with their bright and cheerful style and ability to capture a theme in “<\/span>action<\/em>.” \u00a0This\u00a0<\/span>Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles party lands just as high on the cheerful scale as all their other parties and meets<\/span>\u00a0their goal of making parties imaginative and active. \u00a0Melissa Peterson, owner and head event planner, tells us about \u00a0how this Ninja Turtle party was brought to life!<\/span><\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/span>My 4 year old son, Cruz, wanted a Ninja Turtle party for party theme this year. \u00a0As with most parties we do at MudPie Parties, we wanted to keep it active and with elements of imaginative play and whimsy. \u00a0So, I thought it would be pretty neat to have all the kids go through Ninja Turtle training. \u00a0With this in mind, we created a Master Splinter Training Academy where they would earn their “shell”! Some party decor details included the following:<\/div>\n

Masks and Shell<\/strong> – As partygoers arrived they were able to pick out a felt shell and choose their color mask before heading off to the bouncy castle to play while the other guests arrived.<\/div>\n

Birthday Table<\/strong> – Cruz’s favorite turtle is Donatello – so we created his table with purple with lots of green accents. \u00a0We bought letters of his name covered in Ninja Turtle comic book paper, along with a green #4 with a mask on it, as the centerpieces of the table.<\/div>\n

Photobooth<\/strong> – We had 2 photo op areas. \u00a0One was a dark navy fabric with white clouds (cut out from poster board) with cardboard buildings to create a skyline. \u00a0We also had a friend paint a cutout Ninja Turtle to take pictures behind with a brick fabric in the background.<\/span><\/div>\n

Entertainment<\/strong> – We had a friend dress up as Raphael and he was involved throughout the training activities. And of course, we had a friend dress up as Shredder for the little ninja turtles in training to defeat!<\/div>\n

Food<\/strong> – Our dessert table featured as many of the Ninja Turtle theme I could fit! \u00a0The cake and cupcakes (Over The Top Cakes<\/a>), the cake pops, and cookies (Whimsical Cake Studio<\/a>) were amazing in look and taste! \u00a0I also made the cake pop stand out of the top of a wood stool and with some paint created a sewer lid cake pop stand! And you couldn’t do a Ninja Turtle party without pizza! \u00a0We attached a printable sign on each of the pizza boxes that said Cruz’s Pizzeria for the table.<\/div>\n

Gift bags<\/strong> – I made Ninja Turtle gift bags by buying bright green bags<\/a> and and taping little masks and a smile on them.<\/div>\n
