My Vintage Football Party was a huge success!\u00a0 I know I’m going to get tons of questions about where I found everything, and I’m excited to share a recipe with you all today for my Kickin’ Chicken Sandwich Recipe!<\/p>\n

When we moved from Charlotte to Milwaukee, I have to say I was pretty darn excited to know that there was a Sam’s Club<\/a><\/strong> is nearby!\u00a0 I had been a member for a long time when I lived in NC and rejoined when I moved to Milwaukee.\u00a0 My sweet friend (and our talented photographer!), Michelle Kujawski<\/strong><\/a>, hadn’t been in a long time so I promised I’d take her on my hunt to find groceries, decor and an outfit to wear for my football party.\u00a0 (People up here are die hard Packers fans!)\u00a0 Let’s just say that she signed up for a membership<\/strong><\/a> after we spent 2 hours there having fun and shopping! Yay, I have a shopping buddy now.<\/p>\n

So, I had decent size group to prep for, so I knew Sam’s would be the best value and I love the unique things they have versus the grocery store.<\/p>\n

It is funny how one product can trigger inspiration for an entire recipe.\u00a0 Michelle and I were shopping around Sam’s Club trying to figure out what to make for the football party and I spotted these little adorable Bulillo Rolls! They were shaped JUST like footballs. Can you get any cuter?\u00a0 They were PERFECT and I knew I had to come up with a football themed sandwich.\u00a0 They were not only adorable but a big bag of the rolls cost me just under $5! Score!<\/p>\n

I know everyone is obsessed with Chicken Wings, so I wanted to do my take on the Chicken Wings, but in a sandwich.\u00a0 Let’s just say this Kickin’ Buffalo Chicken Sandwich<\/strong> scored me a lot of points with my guests!\u00a0 I’m excited to share the easy and yummy recipe today!<\/p>\n

Kickin’ Buffalo Chicken Sandwich Recipe:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/strong>
\n\u2013 4 Chicken Breasts
\n\u2013 8 oz. Block of Cream Cheese
\n\u2013 1 1\/2 c. Buffalo Wing Sauce
\n\u2013 3 T Butter
\n\u2013 1 Packet Ranch Dressing Mix Powder
\n\u2013 Bulillo Rolls (Sam’s Club has the football shaped ones!)
\n\u2013 6 c. Cole Slaw Mix (Sam’s Club Fresh Foods<\/a><\/strong> section)
\n\u2013 1\/2 c. (or more to your liking) Ranch Dressing (From a mix or store bought)
\n\u2013 1\/4 c. thin slices of celery
\n\u2013 Cheddar Cheese Slices
\n\u2013 Salt and Pepper to taste<\/p>\n

\nDirections:<\/strong>
\nChicken:<\/em>
\nAdd your 4 chicken breasts, 1 packet of ranch seasoning and 1 Cup Buffalo Wing Sauce to a crock pot.\u00a0 Cook your chicken in a crock pot on low.\u00a0 (I start mine in the morning so by dinnertime it is nice and tender and easy to shred).\u00a0 Once chicken is cooked, shred it and mix in the additional 1\/2 c. Buffalo Wing Sauce and the 8 oz. block of cream cheese, and the 3 Tablespoons of butter.<\/p>\n

Cole Slaw Topping:<\/em>
\nMix together 6 c. of cole slaw mix (we like the kind with the carrots) and 1\/2c. Ranch Dressing and 1\/4 c. thin slices of celery.\u00a0 Add more ranch dressing, salt and pepper to taste.<\/p>\n

Set your oven to 350 degrees.\u00a0 Cut your Bulillo Rolls in half, lengthwise.\u00a0 Add about 1\/3 c. chicken mixture and add one slice of cheddar cheese on top.\u00a0 Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until cheese has melted.\u00a0 Remove from the oven and top with the celery cole slaw mixture and add the top bun.\u00a0 Enjoy!<\/p>\n

You do not have to melt the cheese on top, but we recommend it! If you have a large crowd, you can serve it in a crock pot and skip the toasting part!<\/p>\n

What a fun and productive trip to Sam’s Club that was!\u00a0 (Oh, and of course we found both soup bowls (for the chili we are making) and adorable Packers shirts there, too!)\u00a0 I was all set for the big football party!<\/p>\n
