<\/div>\nMy\u00a0lovely friend Jessica and I worked together in the high-end stationery industry together a decade ago. We share a passion for paper, and used to dream up our weddings and showers, and all the paperie to go with! I used to jest with Jess that I wanted to host a\u00a0bridal shower for her–and this summer, I finally had the\u00a0honor of doing so!<\/div>\n

The invitation suite was of utmost importance, and I knew that no one could create something more perfect for Jess than Maureen & Adria of Anders Ruff. They have such brilliant style, fabulous design abilities and are truly a dream to work with! I adore the collection they created (especially that enclosure card with the invite), with a nod to Jess’ rustic style for her wedding, yet still romantic with her pink and gray color scheme. I honestly could go on and on about their collection–but I believe it speaks for itself! From the whitewashed gray wood backdrop to the modern herringbone details on so many pieces, it all blended together beautifully–not fussy or too frilly–because that simply isn’t Jess!<\/div>\n

\u00a0We opted for an afternoon of summer sips and sweets…Jess never a fan of cake, we did a cupcake tower instead. The party games Maureen & Adria created were a huge hit, and the biggest hit, I do believe, was the fresh spun custom flavored cotton candy favors. Each guest took a bundle of sweets home, but it was this cotton candy that had them all spinning for the evening during the bachelorette party! I ended up using the straw flags for the cotton candy labels–perfect!<\/div>\n
