This week is your last week to pass around Boo Gifts\u00a0and today\u00a0I wanted to share with you the Ghost Boo Gifts we made for Grayce’s friends. \u00a0My girls love this tradition and ask me every year to participate. We don’t live in a neighborhood full of kids, so we just drop off Boo Gifts to close friends even if they have already been booed in their neighborhood. \u00a0I decided this year to figure out a way to keep our Boo Gifts inexpensive but still be creative and fun! \u00a0I looked around the house to see what supplies I could collect starting with containers and craft supplies. \u00a0I typically have lots of mason jars<\/a><\/strong> because they are inexpensive and good for crafting. \u00a0I always have spray paint<\/strong><\/a> on hand and construction paper<\/strong><\/a>. \u00a0I looked up halloween mason jars to see what ideas were out there and saw some cute ghost laterns. \u00a0I knew this would be perfect for our Boo Gifts. I wanted to put a little bit of candy in them, so I used tissues, lollipops<\/strong><\/a>, straws<\/strong><\/a> and ribbon<\/strong><\/a> to create the classic ghost lollipop. \u00a0The only item I had to purchase was a bag of lollipops because I had everything else at home. \u00a0I seriously spent $1 total… impressive, right?<\/p>\n

Here is how you make Ghost Boo Gifts:
\nSupplies<\/strong><\/em>
\nMason Jars<\/strong><\/a>
\nWhite spray paint<\/strong><\/a>
\nBlack construction paper<\/strong> <\/a>(or black card stock)
\nTissues
\nStraws<\/strong><\/a>
\nRibbon<\/strong><\/a>
\nLollipops (I used tootsie roll pops<\/strong><\/a>)
\nFloral foam blocks<\/strong><\/a>
\nPrintable Boo Sign – I used the Spooky Forest Sign and you can find it\u00a0here<\/a>.
\nLED lights<\/strong><\/a> (optional)<\/p>\n

<\/a>Directions<\/strong><\/em>
\n1. Spray mason jar<\/strong>s<\/strong><\/a> (I spray the outside of them) and allow dry time.
\n2. Cut out eyes and mouths from black paper<\/strong><\/a>
\n3. Tape or glue ghost faces to the jars.
\n4. Insert floral foam<\/strong><\/a> into bottoms of jars (so you can stick out the ghosts and boo sign without it moving around)
\n5. Create your lollipop ghosts by taping lollipop stick<\/strong><\/a> inside\u00a0paper straws<\/strong><\/a> (to give entended length), covering with tissue and\u00a0adding ghost faces.<\/p>\n

<\/a>6. \u00a0Stick lollipop ghosts and Boo Sign<\/a>\u00a0in jar, along with the Boo Directions.
\n7. Add an LED light<\/strong><\/a> inside the jar (so it lights up) and drop off at night time!<\/p>\n
