\n<\/a>We want to give THANKS to our fans\/readers today by sharing with you a FREE PRINTABLE Thanksgiving Placemat<\/a>. \u00a0We are showing a few simple tricks you can do to spruce up your kid’s table as well. \u00a0We are loving the rustic vibe this season with pale fall neutral colors with\u00a0a hint of blue… who says kid’s seating can’t be just as charming\u00a0as the adult table? \u00a0We set out kraft paper for the kids to draw on while they wait, along with wooden untensils, turkey feathers and twine. \u00a0Our\u00a0FREE PRINTABLE Thanksgiving Placemat<\/a>\u00a0encourages kids to give gratitude & record favorite memories. This is the one time during the year, my kids actually will say kind words to each other \u00a0(sigh). \u00a0We used our favorite Twine, from the Twinery<\/a> to give that little pop of blue to the table by wrapping it on the wooden utensils and the mason jar glasses. \u00a0We added a gold accented paper straw and tied feathers & wheat to the napkins for a final touch.

Supplies Needed:
\nFREE PRINTABLE Thanksgiving Placemat<\/a>
\nKraft Paper
\nPens, pencils, markers or crayons
\nFeathers
\nWheat
\nTwine<\/p>\n

Directions:
\n1.Print the free printable placemat on paper of your choice.
\n2. Wrap table with Kraft paper
\n3. Using twine, wrap several layers around wooden utensils in color of your choice.<\/p>\n

4. Repeat along glasses (we used mason jars) for the kids!<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>5. Tie feathers and wheat around the napkins<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

6. Add kid’s names to each place setting (or let them write their own)<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

7. Start hangman or tic-tac-toe games for them to play on the sides of the paper!<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

8. Have them fill out their Thanksgiving placemat, and read out loud during dinner. \u00a0Use as a keepsake for years to come.<\/p>\n
