<\/a>Today we are sharing a glamorous Roaring 20’s birthday party we recently threw for our dear friend Casey.  We created the theme based on the Great Gatsby theme Song:  “A little party never killed nobody” using subdued colors, natural elements of feathers & papers along with bits of sparkle and rose gold shimmer spray paint.  The party kicked off at a fabulous local tapas restaurant in Charlotte, and then ended the night at a Speak Easy Bar around the corner from the restaurant.<\/p>\n

All of the guests wrote inspirational quotes about Casey and Maureen hung them along the wall with a feather boa.  During dinner, the Casey read each quote out loud and we told fun stories about Casey.<\/p>\n

<\/a>To glam up our party printables, Maureen used rose gold spray paint and light dusted them for a shimmering effect.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Directions for Shimmering Printables:<\/strong><\/em>
\n1. Print designs on matte paper.
\n2. Using gloves hold each paper out at a distance from you and lightly spray the paper.
\n3. Start with very light spray pressure until you get the desired shimmering effect.
\n4. Spray feathers or any other decor items to match.<\/p>\n

<\/a>After dinner, we went to the speak easy for drinks, dancing and more fun!<\/p>\n
