We get a lot of requests for character and commercial themed parties. \u00a0We limit the custom work that we can take when related to commercial characters. \u00a0They are a challenge and are limiting, but can be fun. \u00a0One that is pretty popular in our shop is the “Sesame Street or Elmo Inspired” <\/a> design.<\/p>\n

I wanted to display an example of how “commercial” parties can be simple and still cute without being “character overboard”.<\/p>\n

Sarina of Swanky Sweet Designs sent us some photos from a display she put together that would be precious for an Elmo\/Sesame Street inspired birthday party. \u00a0We wanted to share a few photos with you all.<\/p>\n

I love the polkadot plates (above) that the cupcakes are displayed on. \u00a0Recognize them from Super P’s party<\/a>!? (Ours were black – from Target). \u00a0I like how she didn’t make the setup feel “too character”, but it still fit the theme. \u00a0Simple printables<\/a> can transform the whole scene easily and in a cost effective manner.<\/p>\n

I also like the chalkboard to say “take one” and the sketchy writing to make it feel “Sesame Street”.<\/p>\n

Sweet little red velvet cupcakes… I like how she picked a dessert that coordinated with the colors.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This shows how customized printables <\/a>are an effective way to spruce up useful and economical items….water bottles!<\/p>\n

Drizzled caramel popcorn…. mmm!<\/p>\n
