The first of its kind to come to the beautiful west coast state of Washington, AR Workshop Gig Harbor<\/a> <\/strong>opened mid-December and celebrated with a full house for its grand opening. Nestled in the charming and historic city of Gig Harbor, this creative, hands-on studio is located at 3208 Tarabochia St, Gig Harbor, WA 98335.<\/p>\n

The masses of excited grand-opening attendees (myself included) loved checking out the gorgeous workshop space, browsing all of the inspiring DIY project samples, and participating in a make-and-take wood ornament craft. Plus, guests were treated to a fully stocked hot cocoa and beverage bar and a lovely smorgasbord of appetizers and desserts, including custom chocolate covered Oreos with the new AR Workshop Gig Harbor logo, created by the talented Christina Goff of 4 Kids Cakes.<\/strong><\/a> The staff was helpful, positive, and friendly, and the vibe was electric! Guests were thrilled to get a sneak peek of all of the DIY possibilities from canvas pillow cases and wall hangings, wood framed signs, centerpiece boxes, lazy susans, and more!<\/p>\n

Officially opening the workshop in Gig Harbor was a dream-come-true for owner Jasmine who was fully supported by her husband and family. A U.S. Navy veteran, Navy wife, plus a mother of three, Jasmine originally came to the Pacific Northwest as part of her time in the navy. She quickly fell in love and it has been her home ever since. <\/p>\n

Her travels from the Midwest, which encompassed the world, led her to meeting her husband, Donny, and they have created a few exciting sea stories along the way. She has always had an appreciation for art and how it was created. Her hobby of making customized home decor led to an in-home studio that eventually took over the kitchen after every mealtime! Jasmine knew from the moment that she discovered AR Workshop that it was the perfect path for her. Now that all of her children are in school, Jasmine is ready to share her passion for creating home d\u00e9cor with others! Jasmine and her husband are beyond excited to bring AR Workshop to Gig Harbor and the surrounding communities that they have called home for over 12 years.<\/p>\n
