So… Hostess with the Mostess <\/a>just featured our Gobble Gobble Thanksgiving Printable Collection<\/strong><\/em> <\/a>yesterday, and we wanted to show you how to make the pumpkin pie favor boxes.<\/p>\n

We think they are just too sweet, and wanted to make certain you know how to make\u00a0these little pumpkin pie\u00a0favor\u00a0boxes\u00a0from scratch<\/em>. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Supplies needed:<\/p>\n

1. Gobble Gobble Thanksgiving Printable Collection<\/a><\/p>\n

2. Photopaper or cardstock<\/p>\n

3. Scissors<\/p>\n

4. Tape or glue<\/p>\n

5. (5) cut 2 3\/4″ x 2″ rectangles – brown craft paper or tissue paper, for pie crust<\/p>\n

6. White tissue paper (a small piece to make a puff of whip cream)<\/p>\n

7. Tan or white shred to line the box<\/p>\n

This is so easy to make….<\/p>\n

First print your pumpkin pie template and cut out along shape.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Next fold the edges along each line.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Now you need to tape or glue\u00a0the sides together….<\/p>\n

(I used double-sided tape)<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Once the pie box is glued or taped shut, then take your 5 pre-cut pieces of brown craft paper (2 3\/4″ x 2″) and tape bottom edged together.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/a>You will want to then cut your pie crust edge…. just cut a little scallop edge along un-taped edge (which will be the top of the crust)<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Tape or glue the “crust” onto the back of the pumpkin pie box, and fold the crust slightly away from the box.\u00a0 (we use 5 layers of paper, to give the crust some thickness)<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Last – take white tissue paper, and cut a small scalloped circle, fold it a little and glue onto top of box for whip cream effect.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget to add some shred for the final touch!<\/p>\n
