Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we are happy to showcase all of our Gobble Day kids Thanksgiving printables collection photo shoot that we styled up in the mountains of North Carolina. (Asheville, to be exact)<\/p>\n

At Thanksgiving dinner, if you have children, you know that its hard to enjoy the fruits of your labor when the kiddies are crawling all over you.\u00a0 We know that all too well and decided that this year we would put together a\u00a0printable design collection<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0that included plenty of designs, inspiration and ideas to keep the kiddies occupied and happy.\u00a0 You will be THANKFUL that you set them up in their adorable little \u2018kiddie\u2019 table with what we are about to show you.<\/p>\n

We shot this collection at a beautiful timber frame home in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. \u00a0Steve Frellick, owner of\u00a0Yonder Luxury Mountain<\/a>Rentals (yondernc.com), built the home and has the most amazing mountain vacation homes that he rents. \u00a0It was the perfect setting with the timber beams and rustic charm along with the fall leaves in the mountain. \u00a0Yonder also has beautiful lofts to rent for vacations in downtown Asheville. \u00a0(www.theloftsat16church.com<\/a><\/strong>)<\/p>\n

Of course, Becca Bond of\u00a0Becca Bond Photography<\/a>\u00a0was on site to shoot the styled scenes with us…. (Fabulous, as always!)<\/p>\n

For the printable decor and design, we focused on the colors of browns, rusty orange, lime green and cream. Patterns include faux bois \/ wood grain, a fun gobble scallop pattern, houndstooth, herringbone and check. Our new\u00a0\u2018Happy Gobble Day\u2019 printable collection<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>includes some really fun new design concepts such as our pumpkin pie favor box printable, turkey crayon wrap and adorable printable pilgrim hats and feather headdresses.<\/p>\n

We styled a kids table with floor seating in the loft of the Yonder mountain home at a cocktail table to show you how easy it is to make a cozy, stylish and interesting seating option for kids at Thanksgiving.\u00a0 After all, if you have a big family, sometimes you run out of tables and chairs and need another option for the little tikes.<\/p>\n

We love how the look of floor pillows at parties (inspired by www.meandriley.com) so we had Made by Morgan www.madebymorganwiebke.etsy.com\u00a0make us coordinating floor pillows that matched our printable colors\/patterns.
\nInstead of showing a dessert table, we focused on how to display treats and favors as a centerpiece on a children\u2019s table.\u00a0 We wanted to incorporate a lot of natural elements so we used tree stumps of varying heights and widths as an abstract centerpiece.\u00a0 These were used as the treat and favor stands.\u00a0 This is a very easy DIY project.\u00a0 We had Adria\u2019s husband saw one of their fallen trees into slices and then we just lightly sanded the edges to make them smooth.\u00a0 We displayed the wood cuts down the center of the table and displayed our treats throughout the centerpieces.\u00a0 We also displayed a side table for favors and beverages as well as a decor table with custom pillows by\u00a0MonMell Designs<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and a beautiful mum as well as our printable \u2018thankful for\u2019 cards.\u00a0\u00a0 We hung a \u2018Happy Gobble Day\u2019 banner on the rail of the loft. The timber beams of the home were a wonderful backdrop and the kids felt like they were in their own \u2018fort\u2019.<\/p>\n

\nA side table displayed beverages and favor bags where we embellished the items with our printable party logos from the collection.\u00a0 Gourds and felted acorns adorned the table.\u00a0 We displayed mason jars for beverages and added a party logo and cinnamon stick on the tops of the glasses.<\/p>\n

We are so excited to announce that we have teamed up with a new company,\u00a0MonMell Designs<\/a>\u00a0in order to extend our line of graphic printables to home decor!<\/strong>\u00a0MonMell Designs is a new business specializing in embellished, hand-crafted burlap pillows.\u00a0 Each of the designs are the creation of co-owners Stephanie (Mon)ge and Heather (Mell)strom. In collaboration with MonMell Designs, you can now enjoy the Anders Ruff Gobble Gobble collection in decorative hand-crafted and embellished pillows. We fell in love with their style! Their pillows have printed artwork and are embellished by hand with decor fabrics, trims, tassels, ribbons and a wide assortment of \u2018pretties\u2019.<\/p>\n

\nAt each place setting, we also displayed a fun take home favor by MonMell that added such a cute touch to the table.\u00a0 MonMell incorporated Anders Ruff graphics onto burlap envelopes sized to fit a printable perfect for writing all that you and your guests are thankful for. Or you can stuff the envelopes with Autumn sweet treats, crayons, or any other \u2018gobbly\u2019 goodies!<\/p>\n

For the main seating table, the log centerpieces were topped with pies, cookie sandwiches, cookies, donuts and our new pumpkin pie favor box printable.\u00a0 We filled the pumpkin pie printable favor box with shred and various candy corns and pumpkins.\u00a0 Most kids don\u2019t love pumpkin pie, but to keep it festive, we displayed a pumpkin pie box with candies that all kids love!<\/p>\n

We embellished the pies and cookies with fondant from\u00a0Two Sugar Babies<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0as well as printable party flags from our collection.\u00a0 We adore the gingerbread eggnog sandwich cookies from Red Bird Bakery and wrapped a stack of these cookies with ribbon and topped them with one of Two Sugar Babies fondant toppers.\u00a0 These fit perfectly on our log.\u00a0 We also scattered festive felted acorns from\u00a0Lebox Boutique<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For the childrens\u2019 place settings, we cut rectangles of burlap to mat our printable coloring placemat from the collection.\u00a0 We also show bundled crayons with our turkey printable wrapper around it. These were also displayed on various wood slices.\u00a0 (Adria\u2019s husband cut up a fallen tree for us to use!).<\/p>\n

We dressed up bamboo forks and spoons at the table to show how to spruce up your typical silverware.\u00a0 We added corn husks and tissue paper as well as printable feather and flag embellishments.<\/p>\n

\nAfter the inside party, we took the children outdoors to take a hike in the mountains and they loved throwing leaves at the top of the mountain.\u00a0 The kids brought some of their favors from the table to enjoy on our walk.\u00a0 The kids were sporting custom clothing from Made by Morgan<\/a>.\u00a0 The boys wore tie applique t-shirts and the girls had custom dresses.<\/p>\n
