Each year, during the Christmas season, my girls want to do holiday crafts with me.\u00a0 I love spending time doing something that will give a fresh take to our Christmas decor, and we have the perfect project that your kids can make too!<\/p>\n

\u00a0We created these\u00a0\u00a0hand-made, kid friendly, candy cane lollipops for our\u00a0newest Christmas collection, The North Pole Christmas Holiday Printable Collection<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Supplies needed:<\/p>\n

1. Red & white pipe cleaners<\/p>\n

2. Lollipop sticks<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Hot glue gun<\/p>\n

4. Printed and cut\u00a0Party Flag from The North Pole Christmas Holiday Printable Collection<\/a><\/p>\n

5. Ribbon of your choice<\/p>\n

6. Pencil for twisting pipe cleaner<\/p>\n

First you will need to twirl your pipe cleaner around a pencil to form the lollipop shape.<\/p>\n

As you do you this, use a hot glue gun, and put little dabs of glue between each swirl to hold the shape together (you don’t need much – just enough to keep the shape).<\/p>\n

\u00a0Once you seal your lollipop circle, put a dab of glue on the back of it\u00a0to adhere the lollipop stick.<\/p>\n

When the glue is set, you can then add a printable\u00a0party flag to the stick for a simple embellishment.\u00a0 A little frill, but no fuss!<\/p>\n

Last, add a ribbon of your choice through the pipe cleaner to hang your lollipop ornament.\u00a0 We used red & white twine, from the Twinery<\/a>…. it matches just too perfectly!<\/p>\n

This project is super simple, and your kids will love creating these decorative treats.\u00a0\u00a0 These would also be great package toppers to your Christmas gifts!\u00a0 Create a small kid’s tree with them, or even string them together for garland.\u00a0<\/p>\n
