I also framed one of the party invitations<\/a> and displayed it on this table. (<\/span><\/span>All signs were designed by Maureen.<\/span><\/span><\/em>)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Along with the sign, I displayed<\/span><\/span> two jars filled with tooth brushes<\/span><\/span> that the guests could take home with them.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Another table <\/span><\/span>included a sign asking the guests to <\/span><\/span>guess how many candies<\/span><\/span> were in a jar. Along with the sign, I displayed a mason jar full of \u201c<\/span><\/span>bird egg whoppers<\/span><\/span>\u201d and a \u201c<\/span><\/span>fish bowl<\/span><\/span><\/em>\u201d full of blue paper shred for the guests to put their guesses in. (<\/span><\/span>I got this game idea off of a blog that I saw while searching for nursery ideas before Brenner was even born\u2026 I honestly couldn\u2019t tell you the name of it\u2026 and haven\u2019t been able to find it since.<\/span><\/span><\/em>)<\/span><\/span>

This table was set up so that the smaller guests had a place to sit and eat. I displayed <\/span><\/span><\/span>Dr. Seuss \u201cplace mats\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span>(<\/span><\/span><\/span>printed off of PBS.org<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/em>) and crayons to keep the kiddos occupied while the parents fixed their plates. I also provided the older children with red\/blue cups with <\/span><\/span><\/span>silly straws<\/span><\/span><\/span> (Hobby Lobby) and put a printable name flag on each childs straw.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Inside one container was <\/span><\/span>Seuss colored popcorn<\/span><\/span> by <\/span><\/span>Oh Goodies Designs<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>. Inside the other container were party favors: <\/span><\/span>small Seuss board books <\/span><\/span>wrapped in printable patterned paper by Anders Ruff. After wrapping the books I tied on red & natural colored raffia and included multi colored swirl lollipops purchased on <\/span><\/span>Amazon<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> and favor hang tags from Anders Ruff. On either side of the containers were <\/span><\/span>feather-adorned party<\/span><\/span> hats<\/span><\/span>, which was a fun DIY project! Above this table was a <\/span><\/span>ribbon wreath<\/span><\/span> (another DIY project).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Outside the house on the front porch I hung a large piece of cardboard covered with the fabric used on dessert table and a printable door sign. This place was designated as a \u201cphoto booth\u201d (Thanks again to Maureen for the idea!). I also placed a radio flyer wagon next to it filled with photo \u201cprops\u201d: Cat in the Hat plush, gold fish plush\u2026 Thing 1 Thing 2 \u201cboa\u201d, Cat in the Hat hat for toddlers.\u201d<\/p>\n
