4th of July is one of our favorite holidays to create party ideas for. How could you not love summer parties and entertaining and of course patriotic red, white and blue!
Well this year we decided to freshen up our 4th of July party ideas by using galvanized accents mixed with the natural look of sisal and grass cloth place mats. Those two elements serve as the perfect backdrop to pops of red, white and blue.
Kohls had EVERYTHING we needed to help us decorate our 4th of July party and show of our new Patriotic 4th of July printables!
We loved using the curtains from Kohls to serve as our anchor to the bright window. The coordinating red trellis table runner was inspiration for the patterns we used in the printable set.

These cuties helped us show off Kohl’s summer fashion. How ADORABLE are the striped shorts and the cute t-shirts they are rocking? So cute and yet practical for summer outdoor fun.

We designed printable popcorn boxes for our printable collection and they looked so adorable with “Patriotic Popcorn” inside. We drizzled it with chocolate and added M&Ms.
You know of my love for layered Jell-o, right? (I mean, I have shown it SO many ways! In our Vintage Super Hero Party, Comic Book Super Hero Party, Retro Bowling Party, Our Super Hero Barbie Party, and more!)
Well, this is a REALLY EASY way to get the look but not have to have the patience to make it. Instead of layering the jello, you just make the jello in individual glass ramekins. Then, you just stack them in the order you wish! These look so cute and the kids loved eating them in layers.
See. Take one or take the entire red, white and blue stack! Oh and how cute are the flag star toppers from our Printable Collection!?
Printable bottle wrappers dressed up these clear and red drinks….
Sometimes dessert tables are not healthy and so we opted for a few healthy options. Displaying all american cherries was so easy and yet added that pop of colors. We loved serving everything off of our Galvanized Cake Stands.
Cherries were perfect for a hot summer 4th of July party.
Kohls had these adorable metal lit up marquee letters which we LOVED.
We came up with a layered s’mores parfait and they were delicious (and smelled delicious, too!) We layered graham cracker crumbs, chocolate pudding and topped with marshmallow fluff! This is a NO Bake smores treat your kids will love! Of course, we topped it with a printable flag to finish it off!
For the kids table, we put together 2 galvanized metal trunks to make one big low seating table. We used a red trellis runner from Kohls and some of their natural round place mats.
The centerpiece was easy with red, metal and blue galvanized lanterns. Pop a little flag in and make it even more patriotic!
The Kohl’s mason jars were adorable for drinks! We dressed them up with burlap ribbon and one of our printable party logos.

How cool are the USA Marquee letters we put under the dessert table? From Kohls!
The red, white and blue pillows from Kohl’s added a fun accent and the kids used them to sit on around the low table.
Send your guests home with S’mores kits (use our printable topper) and they will be thrilled!
We ironed on our printable star label to a burlap bag from Nashville Wraps and tied on a printable favor tag. Inside was the s’mores kit, some red rock candy stick and some sparklers. What a perfect favor bag!
