Our client, Adonica, an event planner herself (check out her blog here), recently styled a family friend’s son’s 2nd birthday. Their son, William, LOVES drums and guitars so Adonica took that theme and “rocked” it!
Adonica sent in this write-up about the big bash:
“What do you do for the birthday of a little boy who loves drums and guitars? Well, you have a musical birthday party of course! For adorable William’s 2nd birthday party, we created a musical themed party for him that was full of fun and bright colors; a huge hit with the guests. The main table included color coordinated cupcakes, a mini candy station, little blue juice jugs with personalized paper straws, and golden trophy party favors for all the kids to take home. For centerpieces, I wrapped empty boxes to look like presents and cut and glued on guitars, drum sets, his initial, and the number “2”. For a fun craft, there was a “design your own guitar” table. I purchased paper guitars, put out markers and all kinds of stickers and let the kids have a blast. It was a great activity that they seemed to really enjoy. There was also a photo booth with inflatable musical instruments to use as props. The inflatable guitars served a dual purpose as photo props and dueling swords! I also had a custom birthday shirt created for him that coordinated with the party. It was a fun, bright, adorable party for a very fun little boy!”

Thank you for sharing with us pictures of William’s party, Adonica. You rock!

I love following your blog for inspiration and ideas. I used some of the ideas I saw on your blog in planning my son’s 4th birthday party – http://danielledeskins.blogspot.com/2011/06/colins-pizzeria.html.
