With more and more people finding out the sex of their baby, gender reveal parties are super “hot” right now. Such a a fun way to announce BOY or GIRL and just another great reason to throw a party (not that a reason if ever truly needed)! Nancy from A to Z Celebrations put together this gender reveal party in less than 48 hours and without breaking the bank.
The backdrop was created with scrapbook paper purchased from Michael’s and Hobby Lobby. If you watch their sales you can buy sheets for 50% off of for special promotions like 5 sheets for $1. She also used the scrapbook paper to make the onesie banner pennants which I think is so super cute!Powdered sugar doughnuts filled the cupcake holders instead of cupcakes and topped them off with a cute party logo. Having them displayed on the cute white cupcake stands helped to give them a little extra “curb appeal!”
A small bundt cake was purchased from the grocery store and decorated with frosting, coconut, sixlets, and chocolate coins. First though, Nancy added a few necessary and revealing sixlets into the cake. It’s a BOY!!!!
The dessert table also had yogurt that of course matched the rest of the decor, baby rattles made of marshmallows and colored sprinkles, and drinks served in recycled Starbucks Frappuccino jars. Adding a little charm to the bottles added all the cuteness and sweetness needed for a proper baby gender revelation!
To top off this already adorable party, guest were given plastic baby bottles filled with sixlets as the party favors. Cute, frugal, and fabulous! Thanks Nancy for sharing with us.
