Our Bumblebee Birthday collection is one of our more popular themes for first birthday parties! I’m not sure what it is about babies and bees, but for some reason they just go hand in hand. Perhaps it’s because it’s right about this time that they become as busy as bees? Loving this theme as well, Diane Babich used our Bumbee Birthday collection for her son Ryan’s first birthday. Diane spared no details in her party planning and the result was a first birthday party that was as cute as can BEE!The dessert table was filled with goodies that were only black or yellow. Oreos with yellow filling, M&M’s, rock candy lollipops, bee cookies, black licorice, white chocolate covered pretzels, and a BEAUTIFUL cake. One thing that is really appealing about Diane’s set up is the mix of black and yellow colors she used in each container helped give the feel of the party a little more softness and playfulness.A picture perfect cake was served to the guests with a little surprise inside each slice, yellow polka dots! As if one editable master piece wasn’t enough, Ryan’s smash cake was every bit as perfect. I think Ryan’s even giving it two thumbs up!There was a table set up so as guests left where they could pick up a box filled with goodies. White Chocolate covered pretzels, M&M’s, gumballs, oreos, and rock candy lollipops. Of course not a one of them was off on the color scheme. Details, details, details. All the time and attention Diane devoted to planning this party definitely paid off and the result is wonderful! Thank you so much Diane for letting us share one of Ryan’s first of many special occasions!*****CREDITS & SOURCES
