With Easter right around the corner, we’re so EGG-cited to share our Angry Birds themed party!  The fun game is coming to DVD for the second time in Angry Birds Toons Vol. 2 and includes a special Easter Egg Hunt episode. You won’t want to let this one fly by, and can purchase it here. We were thrilled to partner with Sony Pictures and Rovio!  We designed and styled this bright and colorful Angry Birds Toons Party and guess what?  We are offering all of the Angry Birds Toons Party printables available for free download right here on andersruff.com!  Keep reading for all of the fun party details!  Gorgeous photography by Michelle Kujawski Photography The invitation sets the tone for your party and you can download, type in your own text and print them out for your guests! We set the scene for the party with a bright and whimsical patterned background on the dessert table.  Print My helped us by printing the large scaled backdrop and it looked so adorable with the hanging Angry Birds characters and 3d clouds (Be sure to check back here for the tutorial on how to create the hanging clouds and birds!) We used printables to decorate our drink bottles that were filled with bright colored sports drinks.  We used paper Raffia from Nashville Wraps to create the adorable zig zag tissue fringe bows on the tags. Our jars were filled with candies from Candy Galaxy and were so precious with coordinating silhouettes of the Angry Birds characters.  We used paper raffia again to decorate the jars and used the zig zag tissue fringe look on those as well (We will share the tutorial on how to create the look so be sure to check back!) The cake was created by the talented Judi and her team at It’z My Party Cakery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! An adorable coordinating bunting with pennants was hung on the front of the dessert table. I made these precious Angry Birds Pigs chocolate covered oreos (tutorial on that later this week so check back!)…. The kids flipped! Of course we had to incorporate nest treats, so we made these fun Chocolate Birds nests for the dessert table. (Tutorial later this week!) An Angry Birds Toons poster was hung above the favor table which held lots of fabulous treats and favors for the kids to take home! Clear containers from Nashville Wraps were filled with Candy Galaxy‘s candy and we added fun printables to tie in the Angry Birds theme.  The “Thank you, you’re the Bomb” favor tag was a hit on the black jelly beans container. (Remember, these printables are all downloadable at the bottom of this post!) Another fun recipe that I created was this Angry Birds Marshmallow Pops using chocolate, marshmallows, royal icing and chocolate covered sunflower seeds.  I’ll be sharing that recipe and tutorial later this week, too! The kids were thrilled to come celebrate and watch Angry Birds Toons at the party.  They enjoyed all of the sweet treats and each got Angry Birds shirts and stuffed animals! Store bought cupcakes were dressed up for the Angry Birds theme by setting them in nests we bought at Michaels.  Printables were added to the tops of the cupcakes and looked precious with the zig zag raffia fringe bows, again! We created printable chocolate bar wrappers to dress up the chocolate bars for the theme…. These adorable Angry Birds cookie pops were made by Sugary Sweet Cupcakes and Treats and looked adorable sticking out of the grass filled glass platter. The kids seating was on the floor with pillows for them to sit on (inspired by Me & Riley’s signature table seating) The kids went crazy over their Angry Birds themed lunches and drinks! Each Red Market box (from Nashville Wraps) was embellished with a printable Angry Birds Toons sticker and filled with lots of yummy food.  We packaged up sandwiches, bird seed trail mix (which had popcorn, raisins, chocolate sunflower seeds and nuts), containers of celery, cookies and mini chocolate bars.  Of course we dressed everything up with the Angry Birds themed printables! The kids were so excited about the Angry Birds Toons movie! The kids enjoyed blowing bubbles at the party, too, and we even dressed up the bubble containers with a printable bubble wrap to incorporate the Angry Birds theme! The kids all went home with a fun clear container of jelly beans from Candy Galaxy that we added a party flag to… These were the perfect sweet treats for this time of year since Easter is right around the corner! The kids enjoyed the Angry Birds Toons photo wall with loads of Angry Birds character printable props and eyebrow and beak props. We designed a printable coloring activity sheet for the kids to do at the party, too!  They loved the word search and the maze…. Another super fun game was our “Pig Tac Toe” game board (available to download and print, too!). Of course since it is Easter time, the Angry Birds Toons movie makes such a great Easter Basket stuffer along with the other fun treats we dressed up for the Easter Basket.  Tomorrow Adria will share how to create an Angry Birds themed Easter Basket!  So many cute ideas! The kids went home with this adorable gable box filled with Angry Birds labeled goodies.  They LOVED this party and then Angry Birds Toons DVD!
