Regardless of your age there are very few things in life that are as refreshing and fun as a good pool party!  From the kicked back atmosphere to the nostalgic feelings of summer it’s a party theme that everyone loves.  Well before her sixth birthday arrived Abigail knew that she too wanted a pool party and like her personality, it was bright and cheerful.

Jen, Hoopla Events stylist and Abigail’s mommy, made sure to include two of her favorite colors…hot pink and turquoise by using the printables from our Chevron Pool Party Collection!  See the invitation with the fun “to” address label and return label below. All in our shop.

Krista tells us about the making of this fabulously fun and festive party below…

Abigail had decided she wanted a pool party back in the Fall when she was doing swim lessons at Discover Aquatics. Being that kids always change their minds, I felt like I would at least wait until January or February to make sure she still wanted a pool party…sure enough, she absolutely wanted a pool party. Abigail is a cheerful little girl so we looked at the party room at Discover and Abigail decided she wanted to have bright spring colors, but her two favorite colors are hot pink and turquoise. (Don’t you love her giant balloons!?)

Abigail had a blast swimming, jumping, and splashing with all her friends at the pool. Discover Aquatics had a lifeguard size chair in the party room, that Abigail LOVED sitting in. The life guard chair made her feel like a special 6-year old birthday girl….I think it was the highlight of the party! Being a mom…it sure does feel great to give your children a truly special birthday party. Abigail is old enough now to really appreciate all the hard work that myself and Krista did for her and her party. As she entered the party room, her face lit up, and I will never forget what
she said. “Mom, this is beautiful, and it’s all for me?!”
