We are swooning over this bright and colorful Rainbow 1st birthday party. Our clients are always asking what theme to do for their little ones’ first birthday party. It is hard to really know what your little one should have for a first birthday theme since they don’t really have much to say just yet…. (That comes later!) We LOVE that Jennifer used our Rainbow Chevron party printables for this party and it works so well for a 1st birthday celebration! (What little one doesn’t love balloons and happy rainbow colors!?)
Our sweet client, Jennifer, planed this special 1st birthday for her daughter and I am blown away! She did everything herself, too! I can’t wait to show you guys these photos. The use of the rainbow color palette and all of the details are so perfect. What a fun memory for her little girl and we adore the balloon launch at the end of the party! Such a cute idea to celebrate baby’s 1st year! (and if your kids are like mine, they LOVE letting helium balloons “go” and see how far they can spot them in the sky!) Great activity for 1 year olds!
Jennifer sent out our rainbow chevron party invitation to her guests to set the tone for the event. I love that this invite doesn’t have to be a “theme” but rather a rainbow or bright colored coordinated party.

I adore this yellow frame with our printable party sign from our rainbow chevron printable collection. The bright yellow frame is interesting and funky and adds to the bright colors of the party. What a great welcome!
What an adorable soda bar with drinks of every color of the rainbow! And cups with lids and chevron straws (find some here), to boot!
The pink and white chevron box adds height and interest to the table, too! (We love using wrapping paper like this kind to wrap boxes to coordinate and add dimension)
Simple baking cups were filled with multi colored sixlets in pink, blue, yellow and green and orange.
The fun, bright colored nut cups were filled with candies in rainbow colors…. and we adore the rainbow colored chevron treat bags too! (here)
Cotton candy is served in these darling yellow chevron treat cups with lids. Perfect to keep the cotton candy fresh (otherwise it will shrink from the air!)
How darling are the stacked rainbow cupcakes (above) and the cute customized printable placemats, below…. She used our printable placemat design and matted it on bright colored cardstock!
I adore the rainbow chevron paper plates (see in the peek below!)
Of course, little ones need to have activities at parties to keep them busy (other than the treats!) so, Jennifer had a cute craft station with our printable coloring placemat. These are great for keeping older kids busy at the party!
What darling jars of yellow candy as favors. They look so cute tied with our printable favor tag.
What a beautiful family!
This is the cutest idea – to have a balloon launch at the party. Look at Lexi’s precious face watching the balloons float away far in the distance. I know my kids LOVE letting their helium balloons go, so this is a great activity and memory to celebrate her first year!
What a beautiful family! Thanks so much for sharing your rainbow party, Jennifer. Wonderful job!

Jennifer is so incredibly gifted at event design. What a lucky girl Lexi is to have a mother that loves her so much and is so talented too!!
