Today we want to show you an inexpensive party favor we came up with to match this Monogram theme: DIY Monogram Flip Flops – we spent less than $1.50 per pair once completed. So great, right???
——————–
Supplies Needed:
Flip flops (found them at the dollar store or here on Amazon)
Ribbon
Buttons
Needle/thread/scissors
Printed Monogram Sticker on Label paper
Directions:
1. Cut 2 ribbons about 10″ – 12″ (depends on how big you want your bow)
2. Fold ribbon into loop with ends crossing in the middle of the back. Sew a few stitches together in the middle, created a gathered center.
3. Sew on button.
4. Sew ribbon/button to flip flop (I sewed directly through the plastic thong)
5. Cut out your monogram sticker with a circle craft punch that is the same size as button (or cut with scissors). Note: I printed the monogram on white label paper, then I put a clear label paper on top of the printed monogram to “clear coat” the sticker and make it more durable. Last I cut out the double sticker with a craft punch.
6. Adhere sticker to button (for more permanent monogram, glue it on!)
-Next week we will show you how we made the eye mask party favor!
