Are you planning a New Year’s Eve Party? We are! Today we are showing you a new twist on s’mores for New Years Eve Holiday Party using Town House Pretzel Thins. Pretzel crackers are the latest trend for appetizers and Town House now offers their own version of Pretzel Thins!!!
For the focal point of our Glam New Years Eve table, we set-up a s’mores bar which includes a roasting container to make s’mores. Classic s’mores includes a graham cracker, however – salted sweet treats are so popular, we substituted the sweet graham cracker for a salty Town House Pretzel Thin. Let me tell you, the sweet and salty combo is to die for!!!!
If you haven’t seen Town House Pretzel Thins in the stores, see below on where to find them in your local Target.
Go to the cookie and cracker isle at Target, and you will find them in the cracker row.
For the New Years S’mores Bar, you will need the following items to make Town House Pretzel Thin S’mores:
1. Town House Pretzel Thins from Target
2. Marshmallows
3. Chocolate
4. Sterno Camping Cooking Fuel Containers
5. Box for Containers
6. Wooden Skewers
Directions:
1. Create a roasting box (Remember Jen Carver did one for her Glamping Party, too!?), using Camping Sterno Cans (we filled the box with gold painted rocks). We also added gold glitter tape and our Rustic Glam New Year’s Eve Printables.
2. Display Marshmallows and Town House Pretzel Thins in bowls and line chocolates on plates.
3. For Added Fun, you can display New Years photo booth props and sparkler holders from our Rustic Glam Printable Collection.
******Note – we spray painted Mason Jars gold and painted real cut logs white to give a rustic glam look. We also used burlap on the backdrop, table and around the marshmallow jar for added textures.
Do you love our backdrop decor? Remember our fall wine bottle decor we setup with the wine bottles on the Ruff Draft? Well, we recycled that idea and turned it into a New Years Eve theme!
So, we also painted recycled wine bottles, added twine and the wooden 2015 numbers, gold tree branches and marshmallow skeweres for a final touch. (We spray painted the wooden numbers black, and then added gold glitter to them for extra sparkle).
4. To roast marshmallows, put marshmallow on skewer and toast lightly – be careful, as the marshmallows will burn quickly (but that’s how I like them).
5. Once your marshmallow is toasted and warm, place on top of Town House Pretzel Thins along with small piece of chocolate.
These are soooo good!!! What a great twist to smores – and my kids loved roasting the marshmallows!!!
6. Last – create take home Town House Pretzel Thin Smores Favors by putting ingredients in clear cello bags and added a decorative bag topper from our New Years Rustic Glam Collection.
Don’t forget to take festive photos with our printable photo booth props! (in the shop here!)
We love sharing Holiday parties with you, and we would love to hear about yours! Leave a comment sharing your family traditions. We hope you have a fabulous 2015!
What a fun party idea! Pretzel Thin S’mores sounds delicious and the setup is super fun and fancy! LOVE! #client
