Are you having a great New Year so far? Today I finally get to share our 2014 Rustic Glam New Years Event we had here in South Carolina, along with our favorite local band DECARLO who features Tommy DeCarlo of the legendary rock band BOSTON, his son Tommy DeCarlo Jr and drummer Dan Hitz.
A little bit about DECARLO…
They are a power trio from the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Playing songs spanning through the 70’s & 80’s ranging from classic dance songs to rock and roll anthems. Their style is reminiscent of great bands such as BOSTON, FOREIGNER, BON JOVI, LOVERBOY AND STYX.
The band prides itself on their lead singer Tommy DeCarlo, who is the current lead singer for the multi-platinum award winning band BOSTON. Tommy with his son and guitarist, Tommy DeCarlo Jr and drummer, Dan Hitz know how to get the crowd off it’s feet to epic rock and roll songs. And trust me, they rocked our 2015 New Years party!
Now onto the party! I designed this new years collection, knowing we wanted a s’mores bar. For a cold, winter night this was the perfect dessert to serve. We even had an outside fire pit for more roasting! We wanted a rustic, yet elegant feel to blend with the lodge like location for the party.
I showed off the new New Years Printable Collection this past December (you may remember), to also demonstrate another twist on s’mores bars using Town House Pretzel Thins. To see the party post, click here. We used the traditional graham crackers for the party though!

Lisa of Flourish Bake Shop created cookies that were designed to match our Printable Photo Booth props, including hats, bow ties, mustaches & lips!
We couldn’t RING IN THE NEW YEAR without fun Ring Pops (these were a bigger hit, than we even expected)! Who knew adults loved them as much as kids!
With a little sweet treat, comes a salty one… we also packaged up home-made chex-mix for end of the night snacks!
