Today I am grateful for…. MY GIRLFRIENDS!!!! Over the last 3 weeks I have been down with health issues and my girlfriends swooped in until my mom could come to town to help me recover and keep my household functioning. What would I do without my BFF’s… honest to goodness, these women know exactly how to bring sunshine to my world and so I wanted to give them a bottle of Sunshine to help brighten their day like they did mine!
I created a collection of sunny & bright printables that include:
1. Large Lemon Silhouette: “When life gives you lemons, you make Lemoncello”
2. Small Lemon silhouette: “Lemon Honey”
3. Tea Bag: “Lemon Ginger Herbal Tea”
4. Sun: “Hello Sunshine, You make me happy when skies are gray”
5. Lemonade wrap
6. Message Tag: “Yello?” Thanks for the sweet messages
7. Bottle tag: “A bottle of Sunshine to brighten your day as you always brighten mine”
Supplies Needed:
Bottle of Sunshine Printables
Bottle of your choice
Spatula
Lemon Squeezer
Yellow Spray Paint
Balloon
Paper Straw & Wooden Skewer for balloon stick
Lemon Ginger Tea Bag
Lemonade Pouch
Lemon Honey Dipping Spoon
Twine
Popcorn Kernals
Directions:
1. Tape off wooden spatulas, and spray bottom portion of wood handle. Allow dry time and second coat.
2. Print & cut out Bottle of Sunshine printables
3. Fill Bottles with popcorn kernals
4. Tie lemon squeezer to one side of bottle and tape spatula to other side of bottle.
5. Blow up balloon and attach to a wooden skewer through the knot. Then put the wooden skewer through the paper straw and tape together. This creates a balloon stick if you want it.
6. Start taping printables on each item with double-sided tape.
7. Layer honey spoon, lemonade pouch & tea bag with tape along spatula.
8. Tape “Hello sunshine…” to balloon
9. Tape Large lemoncello label to lemon squeezer…. stick the printables wherever you like best! Double-sided tape works the best for this!
I created 7 total for each girlfriend of mine who brightened my day with either food, messages, driving my kids, organizing my household, running errands, and keeping me company while I was recovering over the last few weeks! I couldn’t be more blessed to have these women in my life!!!!
