I am SO excited that fall is almost here! My favorite time of year, by far!
1) The beautiful changing leaves here in the Carolinas (believe it – we have a SUPER long fall here!)
2) cool weather (after months of hot weather here, we have seen enough of the pool!) and
3) Halloween – one of the BEST holidays. This week we will have several Halloween related posts!
oh, and 4) my birthday is October 26th!
Another thing I love about Halloween is HANDMADE costumes. There is nothing better at Halloween than a precious hand made costume. (Besides Sour Patch Kids) Handmade costumes were the only way to go when I was growing up and I LOVE that you can still find fabulous hand made costumes!
So today we have a guest post from one of our fabulous sponsors, Sweet Things. Nicole, the creative owner of Sweet Things, has some precious photos to share from a recent photo shoot at Disney. Nicole showed off our Printable Pinkoween collection.
So, in Nicole’s words….
“Halloween is an exciting time at Sweet Things Kids. Not only do we receive tons of costume orders, but we get a chance to show off our new designs. This year we opted for a less traditional celebration and headed out to “The Happiest Place on Earth” for a “Pink O Ween” celebration for the release of our revamped princess costumes, some sweet new tutus, new spooky personalized shirts, and some fun new headbands.

Sweet New Items
My little girl has decided that she is going to be Cinderella for Halloween and helped me add the sweet details to her dress. We also added Ariel, Belle, Rapunzel and Snow White to the collection. I have to say, however, that my favorite new additions are our fun headbands. We already offered some Toy Story Alien inspired headbands and now have Princess Leia, Yoda, Maleficent, and Cruella de ville. The girls had fun making silly faces posing with them.
We were battling with 100 degree weather and a large summer crowd, so we kept it simple with some spooky ghost goodie bags, spider trick or treat mini buckets, and some yummy princess and” Pink O Ween” inspired cookies. We accented all of our treats with the very cute “Pink O Ween” printables by Anders Ruff.

After a bit of modeling and some sweet treats we headed out to enjoy the park. My favorite part of the day was watching the parade on Main Street. Our Little Mermaid was so excited and jumping for joy watching all of the floats go by. It truly was a SWEET day!
Thanks, Nicole, for sharing!

Just Beautiful. I don’t usually love Halloween but Pink O Ween I can do 🙂 Adorable!!
I love the photoshoot but you might need to fix the spelling mistake in the “In Nicole’s words” section. I don’t think she meant to say “new spooky personalized shits”. Shifts perhaps? Gorgeous costumes!
