Located at 8607 Germantown Ave. Philadelphia, PA, is a boutique DIY studio that offers hands-on classes for creating custom, charming home decor from raw materials. You can join one of their instructor-led workshops where you can make custom wood plank signs, framed signs, canvas pillows, round signs, lazy susans, centerpiece boxes, canvas tote bags, and more! AR Workshop® will help you take your home decor to the next level! And we are certain you will have fun doing it!
AR Workshop Chestnut Hill is owned by Kim McPoyle. Kim grew up in Blue Bell, and spent significant amounts of time in the Chestnut Hill area while raising her 5 sons. When AR Workshop was looking for a Philadelphia location, she knew Chestnut Hill was the perfect spot! Kim is a DIY enthusiast, and has always loved building and creating items for her own home. As her boys got older and she went back to work, she quickly realized that sitting behind a desk was not satisfying her love for creativity. As soon as she learned about AR Workshop, she jumped at the opportunity to help others create unique home décor items in a fun social atmosphere.
