When it’s dirt and squirmy things that make them squeal with delight, you know a  Creepy Crawly Reptile Party is in order!   It was with this theme that Marcie Lenick of  Celebrating Moments by Marci, created the most incredible party for a 10 year boy who happened to also be a snake lover (aka as squirmy things!) Making some minor adjustments to our Reptile Party Printables and using Edible Details amazing fondant cupcake toppers, this party was masterfully crafted!

When Marcie needed to deliver a party for a 10 year old boy who wanted SNAKES hanging from the ceiling this reptile-themed birthday party came into light. “I used a lot of rustic elements. Succulents, vines, moss and wood helped created the feel of the places these critters would dwell.

 

I had been working with Anders Ruff  and asked Maureen if she could “tweek” their reptile/insect party for me. It was the perfect color and design for a 10yr old boy and fit with the design I had in mind. As always, they did an awesome job!

We had a reptile word search for the kids to work on as they arrived, favors of candy and plastic lizards for the kids to take home and a table full of yummy cupcakes and chocolate turtle pops.

Edible Details created some cute fondant cupcake toppers that matched Anders Ruff’s designs perfectly and a special fondant lizard for the birthday boy’s “special” cupcake. A “reptile guy” came with all sorts of slimy crawly creatures that the kids learned about and got to touch.”
