We have had so much fun revealing all the little details from our recent big project.
Today, we are showing off the dessert table detail from our Bridesmaids themed Parisian Girls Night In photo shoot. (Photography by Becca Bond Photography)
In case you haven’t been following, we were recently hired by Universal Studios to design and style a “Girls Night In” Printable Party Set for the release of Bridesmaids, the movie, at Target! All the items you see that are printable will be available for download with purchase of BRIDESMAIDS Dvd or Blu-Ray. There will be an insert inside the movie case with the website and passcode for download. Download, print and get ready for your own girls night in! The movie also has exclusive offers from E.L.F. Cosmetics!
We wanted the dessert table to “feel” Parisian so there were a few key elements that we knew would make a big impact. The butterfly backdrop! We are always inspired by Anthropologie and Neiman Marcus and so this was our perfect opportunity to try something fun and dramatic of our own.
We hand cut the butterflies out of white cardstock. The printable package includes the template and it is really simple!
The black candle holders and the tiered tray were both from Target, of course! We picked up some of the black metal accents from the tiered tray when we used the classic “french fly cone” holder. Instead of french fries, we made pink popcorn and drizzled it with pink chocolate. mmm!
The mini cupcakes (from Got What It Cakes) were perfect for our party and we used a small butterfly topper (from Modern Luxe Events) on some of the mini cupcakes.
We also show the adorable lip gloss from E.L.F. Cosmetics that will be included with the Bridesmaids DVDs and BluRays sold at Target. The perfect favor for a girls night in and you can dress it up with a printed party flag from the party set!
In our printable party set that comes with Bridesmaids the movie at Target (for a limited time!), we included an adorable favor hangtag design. Firefly Confections replicated the design onto a cookie and it is a perfect match! She even included a hole so we could add a cute little ribbon to the tops of the cookies. Too pretty to eat, right!?
Got What It Cakes created beautiful Cruffle Pops (Cake Pops). We topped them off with a small piece of printable patterned paper made into a flag (included in the set!) on a toothpick.
Everyone enjoyed the pink chocolate drizzled popcorn. Afterall, you must have popcorn at a movie night/ girls night in, right!?
Recognize the gorgeous flower cupcake (from Bridesmaids the movie!)? Adria and I went to see Bridesmaids after getting hired by Universal. We studied all of the details from the movie and the one scene with a cupcake like this is the inspiration behind the pretty flower cupcake. Mandie, of Got What It Cakes, made the cupcake and the beautiful toppers.
We wrapped the cupcake with a printable cupcake wrapper (from the printable party set!) to coordinate with the theme. Also, you will see the printable favor tags hanging from the candle holder.
We displayed the E.L.F. lip glosses (with the printable party flags embellishment) in appetizer spoons with some hot pink candies as an embellishment.
More gorgeous shots of the desserts made by Got What It Cakes.
We easily found pink and black candies for these adorable polka dot serving dishes. The hot pink gumballs are from Polka Dot Market!
Chocolate bar wrappers are included in the Bridesmaids “Girls Night In” printable party set and added a really nice embellishment to the mini chocolate bars that we served on the dessert table.
We had SO much fun with our team! We invited our two fabulous Design Editors to come enjoy the party/photo shoot.
Below is Caryn and I as she applies the fabulous E.L.F Lip gloss from the Bridesmaids Target Offer Promotion. Also below is Becky who enjoyed the lip glosses that we used as favors at our Girls Night In photo shoot.
Our guests of honor, the 3 adorable retrievers from the fabulous breeder, Seasons Gold, in the Charlotte area.

Also shown below – Adria and our sweet friend, Nicole, with the sweet puppies….
We hope you enjoy! This dessert table was something that anyone can put together. The items on the table are desserts that you can either find locally from a bakery or make yourself.
We had to get some shots of each of us from the day. (Whew! What a fun week it was!) I am so lucky to have such a fun and fabulous team!
Thanks, girls, for joining the fun and helping us clean up after the party! Nicole – thanks for your fabulous assistance the (late) nights before the shoot.
We hope you enjoyed the dessert table portion of our Bridesmaids themed girls night in! The Printable Party Decor set is FULL of stylish printables that we can’t wait to show off! We will keep you posted on pre-order information for the Bridesmaids DVD/Blu-Ray at Target.
Stay tuned later this week for details and the photos from our kitchen decor setup from the photo shoot. Lots of fun!
