We are giving a big AR welcome to the new business on the block in South Carolina. AR Workshop North Augusta opened last weekend, and is already making DIY dreams come true. Located at 434 Georgia Avenue, Ste. 104, in North Augusta this new location celebrated with all the fanfare one would expect at a creative business’ grand opening! Guests enjoyed visiting the new hands-on DIY home décor workshop, checking out examples of the gorgeous class project options, enjoying drinks and food, and learning about what makes this amazing business tick. You won’t want to miss the fun of an instructor-led class that includes all of the raw materials you need to make something beautiful for your home or office. What will you make first? There are so many fabulous décor items to choose from: wood plank signs, wood framed signs, centerpiece boxes, picture frames, wood trays, lazy susans, canvas wall art and pillow cases, and much, much more.
AR Workshop North Augusta is located in North Augusta, South Carolina. They are owned by BW Studios, LLC which is a joint partnership between Rich and Jamie Wyatt and Anita Barr. Anita Barr owns the AR Workshop Evans location, which is considered a sister store as it is located about 25 minutes away. Together, this new location will service the needs of Augusta as well as North Augusta (just across the Savannah River), Aiken, and surrounding communities in South Carolina.
Jamie will be the face of the location, operating the day-to-day, and Rich has been there to help out every step of the way. The two are California transports that ended up in Georgia because of service in the military (Rich was stationed at Fort Gordon). Rich retired this summer (July 2019), and that makes this a woman and veteran owned business (Anita also served in the Navy). Rich and Jamie have been married for 15 years and have traveled the globe thanks to the Navy. They have two boys that are 10 and 7 years old.
Jamie has always been crafty! Her organization, keen eye for interior design and party planning have kept her in high demand wherever her family was stationed with the Navy. She worked at AR Workshop Evans for a year and knew that it was something that both she and Rich would excel at. When the opportunity to go into business came up, the Wyatt’s jumped on the idea.
The Wyatt family is blessed beyond measure to take root with AR Workshop North Augusta in the beautiful historic down town area. As the community resurges, they hope to bring a smile to the faces of those completing projects by offering a beautiful workshop filled with great ideas!
