Revealing our HOP Hoppy Easter Party for Universal Studios and Target {FREE Printable Offer}

The word is out.  The bold colors of our latest project for Universal Studios will hopefully keep you intrigued throughout this huge post full of eye candy.  We worked with our fabulous photographer, Becca Bond Photography, to capture a fun filled HOP themed Easter party.

Universal Studios hired us to design and style/produce a “HOP” themed Easter party for the release of the movie at Target!  All of the DVD and Blu-Ray discs at Target will have an insert inside with instructions on how you can download your FREE Anders Ruff printable Hoppy Easter party decor set! (For a LIMITED time so be sure to get to your local Target on 3.23.12!)

Update: The offer has expired but we now offer these in our shop here!

If you have seen “HOP”, you probably remember the bold and bright colors and the striking candy factory graphics.   The candy factory focused on dramatic candy containers, rivers of chocolate, lollipop trees, giant gumball / candy machines.  We just KNEW we had to replicate those icons from the movie.

There are several skus for the movie, HOP, at Target.  One of the promotions is the Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital Copy and Mini Movie set that also includes wearable bunny ears.  SUCH a cute stocking stuffer!

We had precious models be part of this shoot.  Emily and Isabel (above)….

Of course our party had Easter Baskets as favors and decor all over the place.  The fabulous Firefly Confections sent lollipop cookies which we embellished with a printable party flag.  Basically everywhere you look, the paper products are items included in the FREE set of Easter printables inside the HOP movie.

A new styling technique we have used is the ruffled mini cupcake pops.  Adore!  Doesn’t it remind you of the collar on an old fashioned Easter Bunny?

Our local bakery in my neighborhood, Cupcrazed, made little and big cupcakes for us and they looked so cute on sticks.   Again, if you have seen the movie, you will recognize the jellybean stacks 😉

The boy models were a neighborhood sweetie, Jackson, and my son Jeffrey.

Do you adore the giant gumball machines?  We have seen handmade gumball machine crafts all over the web and had to introduce them into this party in a large scale model for the table.  The lollipop trees on either side were a huge hit with the kids and were seen in the candy factory in the movie.

The fully stocked candy shop, Candy Warehouse, provided the tons and tons of candy that we displayed.

Awesome view down on the desserts and treats.  Chocolate bunnies were HARD to find during December and January, so we had them custom made by a fabulous chocolatier in Florida, Old Naples Chocolate.  These bunnies were SOLID.  We had to dress those sweet little bunnies up with raffia and a printable, of course!

The sweet girls wore bright colored clothing from GAP and were a blast to work with.  Bubble wraps are included int he printables and really dressed up the Easter Basket staple.  Polka Dot Market sent us paper straws and adorable pinwheels that we included in the Easter baskets.

Cupcrazed also made Egg shaped french macarons.  We stuck them on a stick and added a little bow tie to the sweet little guys.

Do you remember what E.B. was in the movie? A musician… drummer to be exact.  If you haven’t seen the movie, it probably doesn’t make sense to you which is another reason why you should probably get to Target on 3.23.12 to get the movie.  The kids of all ages will adore it!

You’ll see the movie box marked at Target with an Anders Ruff logo sticker to let you know that your printable set is easily downloaded from the site / code inside the box.

Bella Cupcake Couture has some fabulous cupcake wrappers and we used them to wrap our big cupcakes (from Cupcrazed).  For the big cupcakes we added our printable party logo as well as some jelly beans on top.  Simple but precious!

Shop Sweet Lulu provided glass beverage bottles, favor boxes, cookie bags and more.  I adore the bright green favor boxes with the window.  Perfect for displaying Hershey Kisses with our printable Kiss logo.

If you were wondering about the poster, YES it does come in the printable package.  We printed at Office Max and the color turned out great!

Mini Easter Baskets were spray painted with coordinating colors and placed in our little Ikea shelf with hot pink paper backing.   I love the paper treat cones for adding sweets and treats to the Easter Basket, while allowing room for other fun things like Bubbles and chocolates.

Printable coloring pages are included in the free printable package as well.

Nashville Wraps always has the best staples for our parties.  The little mini favor rounds were perfect for the mini cupcakes to sit in!

The girls enjoyed their printable placemat/ activity and coloring sheet.  Oh, and we didn’t forget to include a printable crayon box, too!  Oh, and an Egg topped favor box template printable.

Remember how we are obsessed with molding chocolate?  Well, Mold Shop made a custom drum stick mold for us and we made chocolate drum sticks for the kids’ place setting.  The kids were obsessed with this concept.  Little did they know that playing with them would leave their hands covered in melted chocolate, which prompted them to eat them up.  Poor models had little belly aches after the shoot.

Do you spot the tissue paper flowers?  We made up our own version one late night with the loads of tissue from Nashville Wraps.  We will be sure to share a tutorial in the coming weeks!

The kids were hyped up on sugar from the Orange soda.  I was hyped up on how CUTE the labels looked with the ruffle and neck ribbon around the bottle!  Something about bright colors just makes me excited!  Spot the handmade tissue flowers?  The vases are <$1 at Ikea!

How sweet is Jackson with his ears on and his chocolate bar?  (Full size and mini wrappers are included in the free printables!)

So, what do you think?  Are you feeling the “HOP” bright pink, green, yellow, blue colorway for your Easter?  I am ready for my bright and happy Easter baskets this year!

We hope you are as HOPPY as we are with how the party turned out!  Mark your calendar for 3.23.2012 at Target.  HOP hits shelves and will be on a display near the registers at Target.  A great Easter Basket filler and how can you go wrong with FREE Anders Ruff printables included?

Stay tuned this week for more HOP related posts as well as the rest of the month leading up to the big day! (3.23.12!)
