We have been in the spirit of giving lately and today we are sharing a FREE PRINTABLE CHRISTMAS EXPRESS TICKET . We love Christmas traditions – remembering old ones and creating new ones… and we came across the cutest Christmas tradition from Confessions of a Home Schooler. The concept is that she gives her kids “Golden Tickets” each year, on a night during the month of December so they can use the ticket to go see Christmas Lights in the car. She hides it under their bed blankets, and after they have pjs on they get in bed and discover the ticket. Once they find the ticket, she has the car ready with blankets, hot cocoa and they go off to see Christmas Lights. We loved this so much, we knew we had to create a design and share this fabulous tradition!!! We designed the ticket to coordinate with our North Pole Collection, which has an adorable hot cocoa bar set as well. (You can set up a hot cocoa bar before you head out for lights, if you don’t want messes in the car)!
Supplies Needed:
FREE PRINTABLE CHRISTMAS EXPRESS TICKET
Photo paper, card stock or paper of your choice
Scissors
Hole Punch
Directions:
1. Download and print the free printable Christmas Express Ticket
2. Trim with scissors
3. On the special night, cut a few holes on the ticket with a hole punch as your child enters the vehicle. (I just punched each of my girls first initial)
4. Enjoy local lights in the car along with Christmas music, blankets & hot cocoa
I told my girls that we would leave the tickets next to our Elf, and let him surprise us one night with them. Whatever night he leaves the ticket will be the night we go on a car ride adventure. I will make sure I have hot cocoa, blankets, snacks and a new set of Christmas pajamas ready for when the ticket arrives.
I will probably set up a hot cocoa bar before we leave, because I don’t like messes while traveling! LOL
Look how easy this is to set up at home… (these pictures are from our North Pole Collection)
We are lucky to have a Christmas town near us, so we will be traveling to McAdenville, NC (Christmas Town USA) in the next couple of weeks. I am sooo excited to start this new tradition in our family.

SO cute!!!!
I wasn’t able to print out the tickets for whatever reason (found you on Pinterest, noticing this was posted 2 years ago), but they are so cute! You’ve inspired me to design our own and we’re going around town to look at lights tonight!
