Summer is here which means that the 4th of July is fast approaching!  Check out this gorgeous All American 4th of July Party styled by Ritzy Parties using our All American Printable Designs!

Greetings, from the studio of Ritzy Parties! I’m Christie Troxell, and I’m very excited to present this fun and patriotic Classic Fourth of July Party that I designed, created and styled!  This time of year brings to mind summer fun, patriotism, parades, and picnics.  The stars and stripes are represented with style in our creation; featuring a classic palette of deep red, crisp white and navy blue.  Our event photographer, To Pepper, With Love, dazzled us with the gorgeous photos of all our fun party details.  We can’t wait to celebrate with ice cold drinks, some tasty treats, sparklers, and a fireworks show, to top it all off!

Some of my favorite details from this Classic Fourth of July party design are:
  • Hand sewn table runner in classic red, white and blue star pattern
  • White lanterns with unexpected cupcakes hidden inside
  • Retro Radio Flyer Tricycle, decked out for a patriotic parade
  • Sparkler party favors in cellophane bags with tulle ties and decorative tags
  • Vibrant floral accent in shades of red, white and blue with American flag bow

I selected the All American 4th of July printable package from Anders Ruff to enhance our décor selections.  I absolutely love the unique fonts, creative color combinations and the fun patterns that are included in this package. Every design in the printable package perfectly enhanced my party plan. One of the paper patterns even matched the table runner fabric that I had selected from JoAnn’s exactly; how lucky!

After selecting the fabrics for our seat cushion and table runner, I chose a vintage lace tablecloth from my collection as the base for the tablescape.  I love how the bold colors are set off against the delicate lace pattern. Red suitcases from my prop closet were a fantastic option to elevate our pretty homemade vanilla pound cake. Don’t you love the “Snap, Crackle and Pop” cake decorations? They’re included in the All American 4th of July printable set from Anders Ruff!

Also in the collection from Anders Ruff was the half moon bunting banner that says “Happy 4th of July”.  I printed and assembled it into this pretty bunting, hung in a swag above the table.  I think it looks fantastic against our whitewashed barn doors.

A visit to Shinoda Design Center was a great success; I found darling ceramics on my shopping trip, including blue and white striped ceramic jars, a red ceramic jar with white stars, and four tall narrow American flag styled vases, that I opted to use as legs for the white serving tray that I found at Ikea! On top of the tray, a red wired basket was the perfect receptacle for sparkler party favors, which I wrapped in cellophane bags, tied with red and navy tulle, and attached fun tags from Anders Ruff.IMG_0099

At the front of the table, I added a small beverage station with mini ball mason drinking jars from Oriental Trading Company, and decorated them with patterned paper strips, hand punched circle confetti, and straws with paper flags. All of these fun paper accents came from, (you guessed it!), Anders Ruff!

The silk flowers for the pretty arrangement of red roses, deep blue delphinium, white larkspur, and blue mums were also sourced at Shinoda Design Center. I especially love the American Flag wired ribbon I found there; it’s the perfect accent for the floral, as well as for decorating a classic red tricycle for our community Fourth of July Parade.

The tricycle is all dressed up for the parade, and is embellished with American Flag hearts that were part of the printable package. Tulle ribbons add feminine flair.IMG_0122
We can’t wait to celebrate at our neighborhood block party this year. There’s nothing better than kicking off the summer with a party, and the company of family and good friends!
