chicken crescent rolls

Around the holidays, I love to entertain.  One of my “go to” recipes that my family (and friends!) love is my Chicken Crescent Pockets.  This easy holiday meal is delicious and I can make a few batches at a time and freeze them for later! (They bake perfectly from frozen).

Since I moved to Wisconsin, I have loved shopping at Pick’n Save and it is right around the corner from me!  I stopped in to get my ingredients and these were a hit with my family!

Here is the recipe and instructions.  These are GREAT for big parties, too! I make them ahead and freeze them. When I need them I just bake them from frozen and they turn out perfect!

Recipe:
– 2 Cups Cooked Chicken
– 1 Brick of Cream Cheese- 1/4 can cream of chicken soup
– 2 Tubes Crescent Rolls (We bought Roundy brand)
– 2 T finely diced red bell peppers
– 2 T chopped green onions
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions:
Cook the chicken. Shred it or dice it finely once cooked.  Mix the cream cheese, salt, pepper, cream of chicken soup, chicken together. Add in the green onions and red bell peppers.  Mix.  Open your container of crescent rolls. Press two triangles together at the seams to make a square.  Put about 1/8 of the mixture in the center.  Pull up the sides and pinch together. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until golden. (Or you can freeze the pockets and bake later) Garnish with green onions and sliced red peppers. (Red and green make the perfect colors for this to be served as a holiday dish!)

  1. These look absolutely delicious and I love the festive colors inside them! I love that you can freeze them to use later. Totally putting this one in my back pocket! Not literally, though. #client
