Missy & Kristen of Sweetly Chic Events here to share our recent Cookies and Cocoa Holiday Party! It’s the most wonderful time of the year and what better way to celebrate than with an adorably festive Christmas cookie baking party! Our Cookies & Cocoa holiday party was inspired by the adorable North Pole Printable Collection designed by Anders Ruff. Its classic holiday caricatures along with its whimsical palette provided the perfect inspiration for this event! From the chic and charming holiday decor to the pretty pastel sweets, this party had us ready to bake, decorate and enjoy some holiday cheer!
Be sure to keep your eye for some of our favorite party elements:
– Personalized pastry chef hats and snowflake adorned aprons
“Our tiny cookie makers were greeted with their very own personalized pastry chef hats and sweet snowflake aprons created by the fabulous Great Stitch. After dressing the part, they entered their very own pink retro KidKraft kitchen, complete with refrigerator. The detailing on this set allowed for fun imaginative play and of course, adorable photos! Our pink kitchen was full of all the fun culinary tools one would need to create such cute cookies, including a wooden rolling pin, mixing bowl, heart measuring spoons and whisks from Kate Aspen and custom designed oven mitts from Cupcake With Character. The kitchen’s adorable decor was comprised of a blue fabric bunting from The Banner Shoppe and an exquisite sugar cookie garland created by Creating Awesomenessity and custom made COCOA letters. Our miniature bakers could hardly wait to taste the delicious snowflake, mitten, reindeer and hot cocoa mug inspired cookies created by Katie’s Creative Baking. And what better way to wash down a holiday cookie than with a cool drink of milk. Hoopla Events’ plastic milk carafes were the perfect way to display the pastel refreshment and blue and white paper straws from Celebration Lane helped the kids get every last sip!
While their cookies cooled, our chefs made their way to the winter wonderland of sweets, including gingerbread house cake pops from The New York Cake Poppery, made even more gorgeous with gold shimmer sticks from Painting Paris Pink, cupcakes adorned with petite thematic fondant toppers from Kima’s Konfections, icy blue chocolate covered Oreos from Bella’s Bakery and Bowtique pink and white striped marshmallow pole candy from Sweets from Heaven, Outlets at Orange and a variety of colorful candy from Sweetworks Sixlets and Gumballs! And of course, all of the kids just loved the wooden reindeer custom created by Ten23Designs and the fun and frilly tassel garland from Fancy & Fold!
Our tots enjoyed their holiday sweets and hot cocoa at their very own chef’s table, complete with a gingerbread house cake from Kima’s Konfections, chocolate covered spoons from How Sweet it is by Melissa and reindeer cookies and petite gingerbread house mug toppers from Katie’s Creative Baking. Each chair was adorned with an adorable snowflake garland created by Tutus & Bowties.
Before our party came to and end, each child stopped to write a letter to Santa and take a hot cocoa mug inspired candy kabob and a blue rock candy made by Sweets from Heaven, Outlets at Orange in fabulous favor bags provided by Celebration Lane. Our cookies and cocoa party wouldn’t have been complete without our holiday stockings hung with care, polka dot wrapped presents topped with glistening, golden bows from Painting Paris Pink and oh-so-fun ceramic letters from Hoopla Events filled with deliciously sweet red Sixlets from Sweetworks.
Each of our little bakers left full of holiday spirit and and a few holiday cookies as well!”
