A Milk and Cookies Birthday Party

Nicole Ribergaard of PeasantLiving.com made sure her little one had a memorable first birthday by decking out her house in a Vintage Milk and Cookies theme.  She used decorations from our Vintage Milk and Cookies birthday party collection, some hand painted signs, some good old fashioned props, and lots of delicious looking goodies!  The milk and cookies alone were probably a crowd pleaser for all the little guests, but I’m sure the decorations added a bit of hype and excitement for them as well.  I say “little guests” but in reality the cookies, milk and decor were probably just as exciting for the bigger guests as well!

Nicole had several different display areas set up and each had different goodies.  There was the main focal point that housed the cookies.  There is no doubt that I would have got caught with my hand in those cookie jars.  Mmmm!  Metal milk jugs and glass milk bottles were displayed as added decorations and help to give even more depth to the theme.  The sign hanging above the table is one that Nicole and her friend Dana O’Rourke  painted.  There is no denying that this is indeed a milk and cookies party.

The second of the three stations she set up was the beverage station with big beverage dispensers for milk and of course chocolate milk!  She then set out little milk bottles for them to fill up.  The milk bottles are really becoming a big thing at parties and they aren’t just for milk and cookies parties.  Thank goodness because I am loving the trend and look!  Nicole and Dana also painted the sign hanging above this table.
