This is Brenda Byers of Great Stitch, guest posting today on Anders Ruff! I am so honored to be able to write a guest post for some of my favorite people. Anders Ruff has been wonderful friends to us at GreatStitch. For this 4th of July Party we were excited to use one of their printable sets that fit perfectly with our theme.
We used these for tags on the gift bags, water bottle labels, flags for the watermelon stars, and covers for the matchbooks. They have great ideas for the 4th of July!
When the wind comes sweeping down the plains in Oklahoma around the Fourth of July, it’s likely to carry the smoke and echoes of fireworks. At our home, we get a permit and shoot off fireworks every year!
As the years have gone by the celebration has gotten bigger. Two of our favorite kiddos stopped by to share the fun. We loved the idea of them having a watermelon and sparkler fireworks stand.
The photos were taken by Gypsy Canon.
All Things Cake provided scrumptious watermelon sugar cookies.
The red and white fondant lollipops came from Edible Details.
The custom Cake Pop Stand came from ClayaGoGo.
The blue candy is Martha Washington Balls. Those are usually reserved for Christmas, but we thought why not make some with some blue melting chocolate instead of milk chocolate and roll them in sprinkles. How can something named Washington be wrong for the 4th of July?
The custom kid’s outfits came from GreatStitch.
John Adams wrote a letter to his wife Abigail about the Fourth of July and the signing of the Declaration of Independence in which he said, “I believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be celebrated by pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires and illuminations from one of this continent to the other.”
Here at GreatStitch, we’re doing our part to celebrate our dear country! Anders Ruff can give you the tools you need to look like a pro this 4th of July! Be safe, and join us. The memories matter.
We hope you enjoy!
