We hope you have enjoyed our Angry Birds Toons Party posts this week! We loved sharing the full party as well as the Angry Birds Cookies tutorial and the Angry Bird Marshmallow Pops tutorial. Today, we are sharing the perfect treat for your Angry Birds Toons party or your Easter celebration! We are sharing how to make these super simple chocolate birds nests!
MATERIALS & INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
– 1 Bag of Chow Mein Noodles
– 1 Bag of melting Chocolate Discs or chips (You can mix dark and white chocolate to create a more “tan” color, or just use dark)
– Jordan Almonds or Malted Milk Eggs (We love Candy Galaxy)
– Cupcake liners
– Cupcake pan
– Bowl and Spoon
STEPS:
Step 1: Line your cupcake pan with the paper liners
Step 2: Melt the chocolate melting discs in the microwave
Step 3: Combine the chow mein noodles with the melted chocolate and stir until completely coated.
Step 4: Spoon the mixture into the cupcake pan, making sure to press down in the middle more to create a “nest”.
Step 5: Add your jordan almonds or malted milk ball eggs to the center while the chocolate is still wet so they stay in place.
Step 6: Let dry completely. Once dry, remove the paper liner from the nest. Display!
Don’t forget, we shared FREE Angry Birds Toons printables on Monday to check that post out here.
