You guys! I am SO in love with this Shabby Chic First Communion Party by Jen Ward. You might remember Jen’s adorable Woodland Owl party that we shared a bit ago…. well, this one is so whimsical and beautiful, I am so excited to share it! Jen does an amazing job.
Jen used our Elegant Baptism Printable Invitation and Collection from our shop here. You also might remember Jen Carver’s original Shabby Chic Baptism for her daughter, Kaylee. We love to see the different ways clients use our printables and style their events! Find the invitation in our shop here.
A few of our favorite elements from this Shabby Chic Baptism Party are:
– The fringed tassel hanging from the oversized balloons
– The use of the aged doors behind the dessert table
– The various styles of banners and bunting used

Jen did a lot of crafting for the dessert table, including these whimsical ribbon banners and the tissue fringe tassels hanging on the giant balloons above.
How pretty are these cookies from Sugary Sweet Cookies? Almost too pretty to eat!
These simple printable party flags from our printable collection help tie in the theme even on the smallest of details like the paper straws!
The cupcakes are totally fitting for the theme thanks to the help of the gorgeous cupcake wrapper, pretty gold ribbon bow and then Jen punched the 2″ party logo from our collection with a shaped flourish craft punch to make it more elegant.
These floral centerpieces in decorated mason jars are just so prefect and we love how she added cute framed cupcake toppers (again, using this punch on our printable cupcake toppers logos)
I love the look of the stacked milk glass cake stands like Jen did for the desserts below. (Gorgeous milk glass cake stands are SUCH a great investment because they can be used for almost any theme and make gorgeous home decor as well in between parties!)
I also love how Jen mixed in the banner, ribbon bunting and the doily bunting together on the backdrop (of vintage doors!) … the three textures work so well together. She just has a great eye for detail!
Thanks so much for sharing Katherine’s gorgeous day with us, Jen!
