Messy Maureen Cleans up for the Holidays with BISSELL

Okay, don’t laugh but some people call me Messy Maureen. (i.e. Adria). I am SUPER organized but when it comes time to crafting and styling, my head is never in the place to clean up after myself. I’m just moving too fast and doing too much at once to stop and clean up. Therefore, I leave a tornado in my path! HOWEVER, I am known to be a great cleaner. Once a project is done, I’m all about making it look spic and span and love to try the latest products and tools to help me to so.

With the holidays here, I have been wanting to plan a Holiday Ladies’ Craft Night. My new basement is the perfect spot for painting, staining, sanding and more. However, I was always turned off by the stains on the carpet in the basement since we moved in. The carpet in the house was all replaced but not the basement. I am a little embarrassed to show the basement with the carpet looking the way it did. The rest of my house is in tip top shape, so I needed the basement to match! Cleaning for the holidays with BISSELL made it so much easier to prep!

I decided to try the BISSELL Deep Cleaner to see if it could make my carpet look any better and remove some of the stains that were sitting there for probably years. Also, I want to protect it from new stains coming! Just WAIT until you see the results!

I was actually almost ready to sign the quote to have the carpet replaced and now that I saw what the BISSELL could do, I think I’ll save the money for another project!

I am excited to actually protect the carpet from new stains coming, too!

So here is the deal. BISSELL upright carpet cleaning formulas that include Scotchgard Protector have the substance formulated in, so as you clean your carpet you can also protect it from becoming stained in the future. This stain-protecting substance pushes liquids away from the base of carpet fibers. This means that when you have a spill, the liquid will stay at the surface longer so you have time to clean it up before the carpet is seriously damaged.

With about an hour of work, I am happy to report that the carpet looks almost BRAND NEW thanks to the BISSELL upright steam cleaner! I am so excited to have this space to use for craft night! Here is a photo of the after…
