Outdoor Movie Night Monogrammed Pillows, Blankets & Tshirts by Great Stitch

If you haven’t seen our newest party theme yet, we recently designed and styled Brynne’s 13th Birthday Outdoor Movie Night featuring a Jelly Belly Consession Stand, decorated movie screen, outdoor seating with monogrammed pillows and blankets and a festive popcorn bar. We were so excited to partner with Jelly Belly to create the perfect jelly bean display for Brynne’s movie birthday party. In addition to the Jelly Belly Consession Stand, we also partnered with Brenda Byers from Great Stitch who designed and created the monogrammed pillows, tshirts & tote/bag blankets for this party. We have collaborated with Brenda on many of our party themes in the past, but this one takes the cake. The vibrant colors, patterns and gorgeous monogram detailing were just what this outdoor movie night needed to make the entire scene pop for our teen girls!

Great Stitch designed monogrammed tote/bag blankets that folds & carry as a tote, and then unfolds into a large blanket. Brenda also designed the monogrammed and regular bold printed pillows for the party, with each guest receiving a take-home monogrammed pillow in their initials. Last, but not least, she created tshirts for each guest that had coordinating fabric pockets with monograms for them to wear and keep as well.

The center frame on the pillows and totes matched the design we used in our Outdoor Movie Night full printable collection.

We loved the fabrics thatGreat Stitch used so much, that we decided to buy extra fabric and make DIY flip flops with the fabric. We also made fabric fringe garlards you see hanging from the movie screen.

How adorable are these tote/blanket bags? The girls just loved them. Once you unfold them – they become an oversized blanket – perfect for a sleepover, beach day or picnic!

We decorated with the modern and bold print coordinating fabrics throughout the party in almost every area… we even had a fabric runner on our DIY pallet coffee table. You can see the large fabric garlands, pillows and blankets all over the backyard for a festive setting.

The pillows and blankets were ideal for additional seating/hang out spots for this outdoor movie night.
