Pointy ears, perky red hats and the perfect blend of magic and mischief! I know there are so many “littles” counting to the “sleeps” until their Magic Elf returns this year! (Do you guys have a Magic Elf or Elf on the Shelf or a Vintage Elf that comes?) So, naturally when I got a care package of new Elfie goodness from my friends, Stephanie and Heather of MonMell Designs I could not wait to show you! We previously showcased MonMell Designs when they created some home decorations for our Gobble Gobble Thanksgiving photo shoot as well when they incorporated our Easter has Spring graphics into some pillows.
It’s hard to believe it’s been two years since we debuted our Magic Elf collection. And it seems the tradition has grown far beyond what any of us could have even imagined! Pinterest is nutty with ideas. And, honestly many of them work easily with our collection! Yay! The ladies of MonMell have some ideas they’re going to share with us later! Double Yay!
When we styled this back in 2012 for a North Pole breakfast or party we made sure to show you easy ways to recreate it with naughty nice printables to be printed on full-size labels and stuck onto jars. Oh, and we loved the calendar tags to create a countdown with treats for the kids! You can see the entire collection here.
This year, we’ve collaborated with the girls from MonMell Designs again to bring you a fresh new way to countdown to Christmas with our Magical Elf!
Look what they came up with! This hand-crafted Magnetic Magic Elf Calendar takes the nostalgia of Bingo and throws it into a hide and seek sort of way to countdown to Christmas! By sliding the wreath you highlight the dwindling days to Santa’s arrival! Are you kidding me?! So simple and fun!
And the girls didn’t stop there. Why hello, darling pillow. You may take a seat right there…on my chair. Please, stay a while.
These ladies have the same sickness Adria and I do. They listen to Christmas music…eh-em, all year round when they’re designing. Don’t tell them I told you. They swore me to secrecy. But clearly Michael Buble’s ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’ offered some serious inspiration for these Arizona desert girls.
And if you weren’t dying already. How about a Magic Elf Tea Towel? Not just for hanging in the kitchen. But, layer it on top of a table runner at the end of your table and put your North Pole Breakfast treats on top for a customized Magical Elf look! These ladies have more ideas up their sleeve. Look for some Ruff Draft inspiration very soon!
