Its almost spring time, and that means out with the old and in with the organized!
Today we are sharing with you, FREE Craft Labels so you can organize your office space, craft area, or classroom!
I have been using empty paint cans for years in my home office, to store my craft supplies, and thought I would show you how to make them today.
They are very easy to make, and if you don’t want to go to a paint store for empty paint cans, you can use empty soup cans as well.

Supplies needed:
FREE Craft Labels: Download here
Cans
Fabric & Coordinating Ribbon
Glue (I use fabric glue or hot glue)
Directions:
First cut out your labels – you can either use them as square shapes or you can use a 2″ craft punch to cut as circles or scallops.
Next measure your can and cut your fabric to wrap around can. I leave freyed edges as is…. you could use frey check if you wanted but I don’t find it neccessary.
Glue ribbon around can, and glue on label.
I actually like to mix & match fabrics and ribbons just for extra interest! (my office containers are all kinds of wild pinks, aquas & green patterns)!
These labels are great to stick on any containers… You could go to the dollar store, and even find some inexpensive bins to hold your supplies… mason jars would work…. you can punch holes in the top and use for hang tags as well! Print them as stickers, and give a set to your teachers…. there are so many great uses for them! We included a blank page as well – use them as gift tags or any other label needed!
Enjoy!
The labels and tag look so adorable and cute. And this year my resolution has been to get my home office organized, so that I won’t find bills for taxes mixed in with my craft stuff. And what is even more exciting, the colors of the labels go with the colors of the stuff I have purchased. One problem, I can’t seem to figure out wherento download the labels. Am I missing something?. Please help. Thank you, BETH
DUH!. OK, so I wasn’t seeing that they were being automatically downloaded in the background. So while I am typing this, I am happily waiting for my labels to finish printing. (l knew there was a reason we bought that new color printer). I just hope I can contain myselt and stop myself from labeling every thing in the house. Coffeemaker, microwave, remote for TV, etc…you get the picture. Thanks again. You ladiess are great!
Very cute labels and tags love the colors!
Fantastic idea !! I am going to print and start my labelling. I am in the same boat as Beth ( in the comments) I may just label everything…kids, dog…:)
Oh youv’e done it again!! I am crafty, as in I can sew, scrapbook, etc. But when it comes to ideas of my own I lack severely in that department. I’ve seen this craft before, but you do it so much better than i’ve ever seen before. Now I will see them all the time because I will have them in my craft room.(Thank God i’m painting my house!) I can use the big cans..normal house paint can sizes…for my assorted fabric scraps and left overs. THANKS!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!
this is lovely printables. thanks for the downloads
